Back, with a new character, and still within my first free month of playing. I'm unsure as to what to do next.
If anyone could provide some ideas on what to prioritize that'd be great!

Currently, I am:
- 119 GEO, full AF, working on relic
- Full Helios, Full Telchine; unaugmented
- Completed RoV, but not finished any other mission lines
- Closing in on capped merits
- Slowly doing colonization assignments for reduced WKR KI cost
- Solo'd almost all of the above-ground delve NM's for KI's and have been farming for delve items through beads

What should I be prioritizing?
Should I be grinding in Escha for silt and buying as many vorseals as possible? Grinding gil to buy augments for my Helios and Telchine?
Haven't been joining any shout groups because I don't think I have good enough gear yet or I don't have the vorseals to join Escha groups.
Since many of them require missions etc., maybe I should do those?

Augment that helios! The alluvion skirmish pieces don't work like the original skirmish pieces- you can get (although not as common) max/very good augments off of NQ/+1 stones, not just the +2 stones, so you don't have to bet the farm if you can't afford that right now. As I don't play GEO I'm not sure which piece(s) to prioritize, but I can say that the set is still VERY relevant until you can get your hands on Almaric (new Escha Ru'Ann abjuration set that is BiS nuking).

Not to mention that as a competent GEO, you've got plenty of opportunity to jump in with groups picking up folks for T1s and the like to gear up some, if not T2s.

What's the best way to farm silt? I'm getting about 7-10k/hr farming solo with trusts.

People are telling me to buy the KIs that let me hold 1m silt, but unless there's a better way to farm them and I just don't know about them, I'd never even hit the current cap of 100k, yet alone 1m

AOEing large groups on BST or BLU and during double campaign typically. Outside of double campaign it just takes longer and is boring.

Also, pay attention to the area blessings; one of them doubles silt gain.

Only job I care about CPs for is Mnk and that'd be a lot slower than fell cleave as far as slits go lol

Oh yeah certainly I just meant if you weren't in a hurry for just that you can get a lot in the process of cping. Most people I know don't farm slit specifically just if they need it they make it there cp spot and get some of both

imo it's better to invest your time on the job you want, you'll start getting job gift bonuses of Capacity Points +19%, + 21% and so on. Adventurer appreciation Campaign is coming, so you should get Kupofriend if you don't already, and get Trizek rings on your mules and send them to yourself/keep them in mailbox

even without double CP event, with Kupo and trizek ring and roughly 350 jp on mythic MNK I get 2200-3000 per kill in escha

Kupofried hands down, he actually has a utilitarian use, and its unknown if he'll ever be available again thru regular acquisition (Adventurer Appreciation Campaign).

buy kupofriend on main and send a trizek ring to yourself from mule. Other trust ciphers can't be sent though, along with the rings from the green pells

Kupofried's effect is very small once you actually have a good amount of CP bonuses. For example, on someone with 0 gifts on a job, but full RoE bonuses and a 30% mantle, it's only a 7.5% boost; this continues to go down as you get more and more gifts. Unless you really have an empty trust slot (like if doing a cleave party where no one engages before the mobs die), then using it on a trust that will help you kill faster will almost always be more beneficial.

that's oddly comforting to know since I had to make the difficult choice of trizek OR kupofriend (I chose trizek, thinking my brd alt could use kupofriend, except trusts require you to engage/hit the mob with your weapon so her trusts won't heal me if I simply have her on follow) Also my mules weren't activated in the qualifying dates

in any case, I'm looking forward to having both on main
