normal respawn is 2hr, during wkr event it's ~15min.

if you stay in zone, you will get this notice in chat log "A Wildskeeper Reive has started at (X-X)."

can watch for that or set an alarm if you have the means.

I am not sure if FFXIAH is super accurate anymore, so I was wondering which of the servers is the most active at the moment? Going to resub, and wanted to make sure I picked a pretty populated server.

Also, if anyone from said server runs a social or event LS that I could start out on, would be great. Thank you!

Hi Everyone, hope you don't mind me posting in this thread, its been very helpful and I hope it can help me some more. I've been back playing about 3 weeks now and mainly play WAR as my main. I have got the i117 Outrider gear and Eminent voulge and as much ACC gear as I can, giving me +61 ACC. But bugger me if I can hit anything 119+! Even with Sole sushi and Aggressor im only hitting like 10%. Its all wiff wiff wiff. I noticed this on the Wasps in Esha, which I just couldn't land a hit. Then I tried the Unity NM Valkurm Imperator lvl 119, well have tried it maybe 5 times now. Cant hit it and worse none of the Trusts can either. Im effectively iLvl 117 from my gear and had assumed I could at least make reasonable accuracy on 119 mobs. I can slaughter the lvl 99 Unity NMs with ease. My dex merits are not great at 10, cant see that another 5 would make any real difference given the size of the problem.

What am I missing? Sorry to ask such a noob question here! Appreciates any advice, as I may be missing something stupido.

can always do /checkparam <me> to get an exact Accuracy readout. A lot of content you mentioned will require 900~+, into the 1000~1100 when you hit Escha's.

Might need to work on some Bridge-way 119 armor, and for WAR im just not sure what that will be.

Ah - so it says Primary Accuracy is 788, which is too low for the mobs I am trying to hit. With Sole sushi is comes in at 864. I'm gonna need to go find another base 60 Acc from somewhere, will look for attainable armour options I guess. Had hoped the Outrider would see me through this phase but obviously not.

IIRC Mosquitos (guessing that's what you fought since the Eschan Wasps, as in the fat ones, are like level 80) have lots of evasion compared to all the other mooks so it probably isn't odd for a 117 to be missing a lot on those.

I'd say you have a couple choices to upgrade your armor. The most "efficient" choice, if you can get help, is to just have someone help you out with T1 in Escha-Zitah and you can probably get some Eschite/Despair armor.

If you're alone, the easiest thing to do when you're first at 99 will probably be Alluvion Yorcia given that the monsters kill everything for you. Have to spend lots of your copper vouchers to get obsidian fragments, but it's not like there's much else you can use them for. The cost to augment them with something nice is pretty high, too.

Reforged Artifact/Relic gear is a choice for bridge gear (some of it will still be useful as you upgrade though, as JSE tends to be), there's a ton of people spamming high level battlefields right now so maybe you could see if someone would let you tag along so you can get some Rem's Tales.

Another way for bridge gear is to do normal Skirmish- there's that campaign this week that basically guarantees decent augments on them. Not sure if you play enough to actually upgrade your way up through normal Skirmish in just a week though.

Or if you're feeling masochistic you can always go live in Dynamis/Aht Urhgan for a while and farm up a Bravura/Conqueror.

Yes - it was the Mosquitos in Escha.

Got Bravura - will eventually upgrade assuming I continue to play WAR. Need to decide what job to do Job points on though as I'm not sure WAR will get used compared to other jobs. Doesn't seem to be a call for NIN/SAM or RDM. SMN is the only other 99.

I will take a look at the other suggestions you made, like Alluvion. I looked at reforge relic armour and it would bridge. But I cry when I see the old Sky/PW gear sat there rusting. haha

Another thing you can do for escha is to get vorseals. Nm ones might be a bit much for you right now but there is a domain invasion campaign right now so can probably get that acc one up a couple of levels and then there are a bunch from old content. Even without a lot of nm clears the difference between vorseals and not can be huge. Like last night when mine wore I think I lost around 130 acc or so and I mostly just have zitah for nm clears.

Quick question about the ongoing weekly campaigns.

Currently there is the added drop up R/M/E upgrade mats from High Tier battlefields. Is this extra drop available on all difficulty levels or only N and above?

All difficulties, but the quality of the added drop scales based on difficulty.

VD currently rewards 3 Boxes or Cases (50/50 split, evenly distributed between the 3 items) as direct drops to each player and 2 boxes or cases in the pool. That works out to 20 boxes or cases per 6-man clear (315 items when you spam them out), or about 100 of each type of item per 6-man clear. You can store 70 Merits and do 7 BCNMs in an hour (then get merits again in 20 minutes) without working too hard, which means you can farm 2205 items every 80 minutes as a party. If you are 6-boxing and selling at 10k, that works out to 16.5mil/hr. If you are controlling one character, it works out to 2.75mil per hour.

6 players take 13.6 rounds (~18 hours) to farm 10,000 of each item spamming VD fights. My linkshell has been doing about 3 cycles per night.


I don't have stats on it, but D sometimes hands out single items / cases / boxes. If it was a 33/33/33 distribution with 3 slots after the fight, you would get 54 per solo run compared to ~53 average as a solo player in a VD run. Fights N and lower really aren't even worth doing if you're trying to farm Beitetsu and stuff.


When they eliminate the campaign (and I have the distribution right), single player on a VD fight will net ~37 per run while a solo D player would net 43.333. It would take a VD spamming group 19.4 rounds (~26 hours) to farm 10,000 of each item.

Worth noting that you can also pick up pages for sparks as well, so there's always that option. Yorica Alluvion Skirmish gear is the most straightforward bootstrap, of course- since you can safely pull that off with nothing more than Gil and be pretty much guaranteed at least an armor drop every time on 1-1-1's (and if you're lucky, a wing drops and three of those = 119 weapon).

There's always the Oboro JSE weapons as well, given even a single tag-along clear on appropriate content. Augmented, that's a very serviceable 119 weapon.

And special dial gobbiebox. Every single day, every single time. I've gotten Eschan Zi'Tah armor that way (Pursuer's feet) and although no abjurations, I've also gotten Bewitched (Escha Sky cursed armor) that way too. Drop random R/ex bits in the gobbiebox and you'll have tally every day to pull something, even if often it's just random vendor trash...it's also sometimes not.

You need X amount of job points to unlock the 'Superior' trait. I think 50 for Superior 1 and 100 for Superior 2. On the Axe itself it should Su1 or Su2 to indicate which trait it needs.
