I did
Shijin Spiral > Bone Crusher > Light > Victory Smite (with capped magic haste, if not only when you're lucky with multi-hit/Fotia procs) > Double Light
while also having my Valoredge tank. This was with me as only the only melee. If doing SCs with another DD or tank, Pummel or Smite. I don't think I've ever used Asuran.

Is there a consensus Ring choice from completing Adoulin? They all look really good...

Largely depends on what jobs you plan on being on a lot. Think the top ones are. Weatherspoon I think is basically the general go to for mages and also great for those trueflight weirdos. Shneddick is oddly nice just to run fast any job without using an ilvl slot. Refresh rings probably still have some use. Thurandaut Ring for pet jobs. Orvail temporarily while you doing mega crafting. You can switch back and forth though for 300k balyd so not locked in

i had a rayne ring for my idris geo and for refresh, but since i can reach 900 combined skill without the ring i switched to shnedick ring so i can run around in full ilvl gear. But as dasva said all of them are good. i hope at one point they give us the option to get a 2. one ._.

I ghink they should have let us buy additional rings, but at increasing prices each time.

Second ring is 300k bayld, third is 600k, fourth is 900k, etc.

More or less. I mean I guess it's ok if you can't get a decent dark ring but meh. If it had DT II like the original English text said might be a different story

So I did Salvage, finished it, left and got a new Key Item and came back to do another, and it says I can only do it once per Earth Day when I go to the door.

I thought the Rhapsodies Key Item reduced it to once per hour? My brother did one, went in, got through a bit and died and came right back and was able to enter again... I didn't do Salvage a lot so I don't know how it works but I thought it was once an hour now ._.;?

they basicly had to because the servers were literally crashing due to arrapago spam (and some other shady stuff going on in there)

Which Salvage 2 do BSTs farm? Arra is really easy but can't be spammed. Looking at the other I see potential issues for all 3.

I haven't tried Bhaflau or Zhayolm as BST, but SSR2 is really easy. Not unlocking your pet until lv. 3 is an issue but the first floor is easy, and with a bit of luck you can run through the entire second floor without fighting anything (you might have to kill a group of Fomor). Kill some gears on the 3rd for most of your unlocks. Dvergr might get a nasty spell off on ya once, but Tiger can mow them down easily.

Just did it, was really easy like you said. Do you even bother with the NM's enroute? I killed all the NM's in Arra and SSR but got zero cotton purses. Seems a waste of time to do them given the crappy drop rate with no TH.

I mean just bumrushing through and just killing all the guaranteed Alex droppers plus bosses would probably take like what? Maybe 20-25 mins and net you ~35-45 Alex + 1 Linen? I think that would be better than double that time for a slim chance at cottons?

Not sure on time - I do it on BLU in about that long, killing a little more than I need to, but not going too far out of my way either (not hitting both rooms for gears on the third floor, offhand). It's simple enough to AoE down fomors on the earlier floors that a BST might need to single-target kill and take longer.
Otherwise though, yeah. I get ~30 Alex and a Linen pretty much guaranteed. Other than the chance of additional drops (Linen from Dvergr on fourth floor, additional Alex singles), the main variation is linking fourth floor ramparts or not. If they link, they pop an Acrolith, either in place of a chariot or one of the gears. Those have a chance at dropping a cotton pouch, but usually don't drop anything.

I think in general you can do better via that method than trying to clear everything out.

on march PS2 and xbox (as in console support) will stop. There wont be major updates as in adding new zones or new mob models or new armor models. But their will be smaller updates that tweak jobs and add new battlefields that use rehashed models for mobs and rehashed armor model for rewards. So no its not stoping.

Are all assaults soloable nowadays? Thinking for Mythic requirements. I remember some were annoying / might be impossible to do solo? I asked a friend if they remembered but they did theirs a few years ago when ASE was a thing >_>

Also does Einherjar still kick you out if you don't have X amount of members? Or do trusts count for the 6 people requirement?
