Don't be. If it is going to die before it is staggered then so be it. You're chances of staggering are always the same on every JA you use, so you might as well take the 0.3 currency or whatever from the one dying and continue on with the next mob. That's only going to account for a pretty small difference though. What sucks about mandies?

I would suggest trying blu and see if you do better. Haste 2 is a big deal, you never have to waste TP curing yourself, and your MP acts like a damage battery. While you are sitting there spamming steps while your luck is bad, your MP is refilling. Then when you have a run of good luck and stagger 4 mobs immediately, you can just spam spells to kill them quick.

This guy bragged about gettin 700 currency every dynamis bastok, acted like it was easy and everyone should be able to do it, but didnt say how he did it, so nobody believed him. If its at minimum what people should be getting, then it should be some kind of strat everyone uses I'd think.

Well if you're on Odin, yes I'm on Odin. I don't know about bragging... I only tell people that ask... and I don't think I know you. Also correction on the zone, it's actually dynamis - buburimu. There's also no real secret besides fighting DC mobs during their JA windows on THF/DNC o.o it's not rocket science

Qufim sucks shit, it doesn't have a single camp big enough for one person, so you need the entire zone to yourself so you can pos hack back and forth doing two camps at a time. I don't know what karizo is doing (aoe WS mobs? NMs for 100s?), but I just started dynamis again and if I have no competition I pull in 500-550 per run doing the normal /dnc JA spam on DC nightmare mobs in bubu. That is clearing the entire camp and waiting on respawn.

Is Spharai still worth it over Tinhaspa/Oatixur? I really like it for the Counter/tanking possibilities.

"Worth" is a highly subjective concept. What may be "worth" to you may not be "worth" for others.
If your question is about Spharai being "better" then yes, in most circumstances (but not all) Spharai should be better than Tinhaspa/Oatixur. Difference is nothing spectacular but as someoen may say, every bit counts.

I find Spharai super helpful in situations you actually use MNK. just a quick example would be MNK in Kamihr Drifts, it just so happens a lot of NMs in there hit like trucks, and that increased counter rate helps a lot from a healer's perspective. just my two cents

No, 500-550 is a normal, no competition, no cheat dynamis. I don't do Qufim because there's not enough mobs, like I said. This "I am so awesome I get more X than everyone!" BG bullshit was bad enough when it was things that you actually had control over. Claiming mobs have a higher stagger rate for you than they do for everyone else who plays is pretty retarded.

But the biggest part of his bullshit was he said he did this in bastok, which to me is one of the worst zones. And he acted like it was some secret method, but would never say how. Of course this guy always talked mad bullshit like how he stole 50 coins as thief in one run (this is impossible just looking at the timer of the ability, let alone being lucky enough that every steal would be successful).

Mandies are workable, but I'd rather stick to efts or rabbits for bronze. They tend to link in groups a bit bigger than I like to deal with (5-6 is survivable, but annoying), and counter attack. Their spawn area is also less open, so you're more in a straight path than a loop.

Actually, 700 is high, but absolutely doable, it just depends on how fast you can reach the mobs, since proc speed is almost a non issue now.

I've got a question if anyone can answer, I'm looking for a revival tree root for doctor shantotto, I know where abouts an enemy drops them according to the wiki but I can't for the life of me find them, been pretty much looking for a mad fox, I know they spawn at certain times in East/West Sarutabaruta.

Anyone know where on the map they specifically spawn?

I remember seeing one at I-6 in West Sarutabaruta, they only pop from 20:00 - 4:00, and all jobs have widescan now, so you can check your map during those hours to see if its up.

Also, for about 1000 gil you can just buy a revival tree root from the auction house on most servers.

Most undead drop them, particularly ghosts and undead hounds. Depending on your level you can just go to a zone like Eldieme or gusgen mines where undead are always out. Alternatively you can just harvest them in mog gardens from the grove if you have access to it.

you can plant revival roots in mog garden and get more of them in an hour with mithra assistant on more seeds. if you really need them. then u can sell it back and get ur money + back
