You should probably complete as many Adoulin quests as possible. Adoulin Quests.

Also if you have dual box, best to do the quests together. Unlocking access to way points, key items for transport, etc takes a while and it's best to do them with all your characters together.

After that is done, you can try to get 119 gear from Skirmish or Alluvion Skirmish.

Alluvion Skirmish, you can probably dual box (with trusts) a few NMs and get the 119 weapon drop. For tier pieces, you can use high tier bodies for more time if needed. Navigate around BG wiki and it should say what is needed to start Alluvion Skirmish.

There are NPCs that distribute linkpearls across the cities. Check them out and see if you can get one with an active set of players.

If you can find linkshell with people in it, you can probably do a lot of skirmish together. Alluvion Skirmish is a good money maker and a good way to get item level 119 gear.

Also how much of Abyssea would i be able to solo/dualbox? Got a few boss kills but would like to finish it off and get Eponas etc since those appear to still be used.

I just came back and am in just outrider gear / eminant axe and I was able to dick around and solo every NM I felt like popping in Aby on BST. Did Carabosse, Ulhuadashi, T3 VNMs etc without using a single reward.

If that gives you any idea.

Me and a whole bunch of friends are probably going to start playing again if the servers manage to get merged. I will say one thing, I remade my dude last year and it was extremely enjoyable going back and being able to solo all the story missions and actually follow the story related stuff for once.

Is there any shortcut these days for KI in Abyssea? I'm debating doing Ochain or something but the 75 Azdaja horns just seem so insanely annoying. Fiddling with weapons to proc for lower KIs on like 3 monsters for every pop will take for-fucking-ever.

Azdaja is a lot less annoying than Apademak, it's like Dragua, 1 Mob drops the KI and you can even cleave it. When I did my Ochain last year I got 40 horns in 4hrs once(with my 3 characters though)

Yeah I have just the one character. How feasible is cleaving on like NIN/DNC or PLD/DNC solo? Regen atmas? MAB?

PLD/DNC with aeolian edge is great, get some ilvl stuff in all slots and you should be okay without ochain

Any job with an AoE WS can cleave easily in abyssea now. With aeolian edge you'll want MAB and possibly atma of the gales if you have it from the hippogryph in konschtat. TP bonus helps a lot too.

Yeah its been pretty much a cake walk lol i did have a wee bit of trouble with the diremite one but that was my own fault, not looking forward to the Caturae though from what i remember of them anyway.

Pugil pet seems pretty OP aswell, seen Recoil Dive hitting for 12kish and averaging at about 7.5k which isn't bad considering my gear :D

I'm probably going to resub with some ppl in a month or so but I'm trying to figure out how I should access my account. So here's the situation. Haven't played in ~2 years and have long ago bought a new phone and never bothered to take down my Software token info since I figured I was done. I don't remember my SE account password or POL password, and I can't access my one time password. I tried to have my token removed from my account but it asks for my regular password and some "emergency removal" password, which I really have no fuckin' clue what that was or would be. So I'm not sure what my options are. When I have time I'll try to maybe call SE support and see if I can use other corroborating info to have them go around it.

Out of the jobs you mentioned, BST, MNK, BLM, and THF weapons drop from Rala. NIN weapon is from Cirdas.

BST is doing decently again nowadays. If you gear up BST, you can probably dual box a ton of stuff.

For starting out though (with just item level 117 gear), NIN, MNK, BST, or THF are your best bets. NIN can cap delay easily + now with Daken trait, they gain TP fairly fast. If you have decent gear for BST already though, BST might work really well.

Though since they recently buffed magic burst damage, BLM or SCH might actually be better nowadays but I haven't tried it out yet.

It's recommended you have least 30-40% -DT in gear. Bosses can hit hard. During Alluvion Skirmish, you also want to activate as many Noetic Accession as possible before fighting the boss (it gives you decent stat buffs).

The one hand axe from Alluvion Rala is really good for BST (though it can be expensive getting augments). Once you gear up BST, things can go smoothly.

The Uragnite NM drops the Axe and Great Axe. When it goes into its shell, run away and doom will wear off. Outside of that, there isn't any other gimmicks.

The Uragnite boss doesn't have too many dangerous TP moves or AoE, so it should be possible to dual box it with trusts without any problems (it just might take a while).

One NM to watch out for though is the Corse. It uses charm a lot, so it's really annoying and probably not worth it to fight it without a pet job. Though if you do try to fight it, make sure your second character (or healer) has Trusts out. If it charms you, your trust despawn. You can pass leader, unsummon trust, and have your 2nd character summon trusts (to clarify, you should do this before fighting the Corse as you can't summon trusts while you have enmity except in Wildskeeper Reive).

As for your second character, RDM is recommended. They have Haste II now and a decent amount of debuffs which lower stats. Koru-Moru (Trust) fill the same role but they haven't made him available again yet.

For other trusts, you should use all healers or buffers.

If you having trouble fighting the bosses in time, try using higher tier bodies and legs. At least torso tier II is recommended (gives you 25 mins). If you have money to spare, tier III is recommended (35 mins), with that you should have time to defeat most of the Rala NMs.

Also the Eudaemon items do not matter as much if you are just farming for the weapons. Eudaemon items affect which stones you get but if you are going for weapons, just pick which item is the cheapest when making the set.

If you are low on gil, you should probably just try farming the Torso and items from Reives.

Here is the page for Alluvion Skirmish. Also if you run into Lorissa, she can warp you up a floor and reset the objectives/bosses if needed but it's probably best to only do this if you want to get another boss (since you have to redo the objectives again to spawn the boss again if you warp up a floor).

SE support should work. They'll ask things like email and other info you used when registering your SE account for first time. They'll probably ask for maybe PoL + FFXI code used for the account too, so make sure to have those ready.

Been fucking around tonight. Laughably soloed 5 hahavas and the my mandy pet killed Byakko in 3 hits. No beetle blood or haha mail

I have a bunch of Adoulin low tier pops that I love to try if it even remotely possible. Trusts I have are ulmia, cherukki, ayane.

Tojil/shark are delve, not skirmish, and requires 3+ players to enter. If you had people to help you enter, beaded the unmanageable NMs, had good gear/augments, and knew what you were doing, bst could probably solo the delve 1 mega bosses now. That would be a fun/challenge thing thou, not something a player just trying to gear up would want to bother with.

Question. Since i started playing again like 2 months algo when my pet engages, i don't see my pet doing any animation, i have windower but i can't find any addon that do that.

Are AF1 battles easier now? By that I mean the 50-60 AF gear, not dynamis AF2 gear.

Because man fuck doing coffers again. Also finding certain areas for solo is kinda tough now. 52 and sticking w/ Onzozo for a while.
