I would wait at least for the weekend or some more reliable reports - do remember that /tv/ has seemingly made it their mission to troll and shit all over Pacific Rim in any way possible. They're almost as bad as /a/ at this point.

To elaborate, it seems to decipher along the lines of

>third week: (again, not sure on this one. but the mention of deficit and higher production costs gets the meaning across.)

It's gotten good name reviews there, I'm expecting the JP crowd to grab onto Pacific Rim with both fists, especially if they went with imagery like the anime-style posters there.

This movie was too amazing to put into words. One of the old Japanese monster movies in a future setting? A three armed mech piloted by triplets? I really do hope they come through with the sequel.

I didn't expect to cry and I did both times I saw it. To be honest I thought it would be ALL action as opposed to a surprising amount of story.
