Sorry. I meant what you described first. That the menu takes a second to appear so paging up and down becomes delayed as a result. The actual paging up and down isn't delayed when the macro menu finally appears. Using up macro slots 1 and 2, as well as having to hit TWO macros everytime you need a macro on another page is the only way to get around the delay?? That's retarded. Is there a way to just never have the macro menu disappear? Third party solution? I really don't want to have to do what you described

If you use windower and/or a g series keyboard and/or spellcast you can set up all sorts of key binds that get around that annoying lag. If you use spellcast and haven't checked out the spellcast thread here you can find lots of information there, and even if you don't use spellcast you can find how to set your init.txt so that you can key bind things instead of using macros/menus.

I think that certain martello cores active in the zone affect the extra azure from murexes and the extra amber from Jala. So it is a side effect of doing Bastion. Too bad that Bastion is terrible.

I was doing more Sobeks today and talked w/another group there about the lights. They said they thought they changed it? Anyhow, today with rr/ss/apoc my hp was only a shade over 3k. What makes your hp go up/down? Sobek decided today was a good day to spam TT after blizzaga. I had to zombie one and a second did it right at 2%. So annoying!

As far as I know only tsui (spelling) drops it from vwnm and I think only like t2 legion mobs drop it from there. But not common at all. I have an ls I buy from that does it every night and I usually only get 1 a week from them

It drops from the T1 ToAU Colibri. I wasn't aware Tsui-Goab dropped it, if that's who you meant.

Yeah I was told only that one but wouldn't doubt 1 au and 1 cop dropped. Probably same for ormulo ingot... but since no really does clears let alone farming of those (and colibri is super annoying) meh

I dual boxed all of windurst quests + missions except the one where waves of yagudo attack right outside of the city (couldn't get hate on all of them before they destroyed the structures). Might be soloable on certain jobs (BLU or BST come to mind, maybe PLD)

I was able to easily solo this on BLU. I did use my NPC I think, but just cast an AoE to get their attention then beat them down.


Looking to skill up axe on WAR. Would it be better to dual-wield axes for a chance each swing, or off-hand joyeuse for faster tp build to pull out rampages more often? Full double-attack merits and 5% from gear if that makes a difference.

So I've been doing some research on COR... is it worth 4-Hitting Armageddon anymore? It seems like it was before the Save TP nerf but doing the math it seems like you need a crazy amount of STP in your TP phase and or maybe a little in your WS phase too in order to 4-Hit. Very possible to pull off but just wasn't sure if its worth trading everything else for it.

Square: Main Menu
Triangle: Contestual menu
X: Select
O: Cancel
L1: Autorun
R1: Screenshot (can only be used when you hide the UI)
L2: CTRL macros
R2: Alt Macros
L3: Heal/target lock
R3: First person view
Select: hide UI
Start: logout popup
Left stick: move character
Right stick: Move camera
Digital pad: move through menus/targets


Thinkin about it, it's a very old-styled way to support a gamepad for a MMO.
But alas with the current gamepad configurator (and its loatheful Dinput-only support) doesn't offert a lot of configuration choices.

Thinkin about the future, the UI and the fact we're gonna get a 3-rows macro system, I wonder how they're gonna update the gamepad support (supposing they will). It would be cool to make L2: CTRL macros, R2: ALT macros, L2+R2: new macros.

Cure the Bio from Tyrant Rusk immediately, and keep yourself topped off on HP.
I could be wrong, but from my experience, it felt like if you have the Bio, OR if you have yellow-ish HP, it causes Death.
Again, could be wrong, but when I kept that Bio off me and kept myself cured, I was able to get through 100 Sobeks Skins without any deaths.


Also, does anyone have any good information on the Aht Urhgan Beastmen Leaders? Specifically, their spawn times?
All I need to complete An Imperial Heist is to get Gulool Ja Ja's title, but I've been camping him for over a week with no luck.
Checking with APRadar, his deathspot has not moved in his room from the first day I've started camping him. He's also not appeared in Besieged. We lost recently, but the last level 5 Besieged we had for Mamools did not have him leading.
Every Wiki I've looked at just says his "respawn time is unknown" when he's killed in Besieged, and no details at all when he's killed normally. The only information being that he'll repop 1 hour after Besieged if he's involved and not killed. [Which, I assume, requires him to have been popped in the first place.]

Just wondering if anyone has any information, even unconfirmed information. Me and at least one other person/group have been watching his room every night for more than a week, and it's getting fairly annoying that we haven't even seen him. [While Medusa has been up for days. ; ;]

About do the finally fight for the MKD expansion. Whats the best way to do this solo/duo? I have a decently geared SAM but i dont have Amano/Masamune. I do have a Ukon though. Can I Ukkos-Ukkos and kill it or do I more firepower?

Sam can easily solo, in theory, with a SC.
With a 3-part L3 SC paired with Sengikori you'd kill it no problem.
The issue with that is that usually the secondWS/FirstSC does enough to bring him under 50%, but not enough to kill. Which triggers him going back to the altar and the other kupos to pop.
Kasha > Shoha should be Light if I recall, but even with sengikori I'm afraid it won't be enough to kill it, maybe if you time a Nuke from your second character.
Personally when I attempted to solo it I failed 3 times because he would do the knockback move or another stun move, fucking up my SC. That's the issue I've been having all 3 times. Without that he'd be dead. Each time I tried for a 3-part SC that I don't remember now, it was Konzen-Ittai > something > something, but I never managed to get it through for the reasons I wrote.

In the end I just did most damage I could on SAM, then Sleepga on my mule, and killed the other Moogles one by one. They go down very fast, the only problem is when you leave them awake and let them cast their nukes. They they all cast together on you it can become a serious problem

Just for the record, gave my character(s) away and haven't played since late 2009. I'm sure most (read: all) the people I knew are gone. Would have to either start over (kill me now) or buy a toon.

How's crafting these days? Not sure I'd have the patience again, plus I left before this whole Synergy thing hit.
