If he's doing Abyssea things, as the -30 accuracy Gaxe should be good(assuming he has atma/cruor buffs).

You could argue that it won't be as great without good baseline gear(full AF3+2, etc), but I really can't justify creating a weapon for farming AF3 or anything else of the sort. You can literally finish all of it in a fraction of the time it would take to create a magian alternative.

Imo, aforementioned AH gaxe -> all Abyssea atma/cruor necessities -> AF3+2 > leftover necessary gear(Goading Belt, Zelus Tiara) > Ukon > rest of the game

I'm actually curious, if I get bored on WHM mule [which I'm still leveling] and decide to smack things with a club, is realmrazer worth using? lawl.

Realmrazer is a solid WS with 5/5 merits into it and access to good MND gear and ele belt/gorget. Put attack into any slots you can't find suitable MND pieces for, and if you have to stack accuracy you probably shouldn't be meleeing.

Standard setup without picking the 17 worst players on the server (pretty hard to do), everyone should make fools/fanatics macros so they don't die when it chainspells and a couple of wars with tomahawk will help.

I got a double drop (1 of each +2 item) off ovni with no grellow, but when i farmed briareus, i commonly only got one of the items.

It depends on the NM, on Bria and Pixie they drop one regardless of yellow and one that can only really drop with yellow, this is coin on pixie. I think Ovni can drop both regardless of yellow.

You mean they share the same slot? I thought both drop on it in different slots, 30% drop rate probably makes it yellow though.

What are you taking DD wise? You should be able to down both clones fairly easily before he splits again unless he decides to be really horrible with TP moves.

You can drop him as low as 40% pre-split without risk of 3 clones btw which makes the task a bit easier. Maybe don't chance it past 41% in case I'm remembering the cutoff wrong.

40% will still get you 2 clones, 39% will get you 3.
Seconding that you should be able to kill both clones easily

I need help and suggestions for two mobs I haven't been fighting in a long time.
We're a small group and here are our jobs/options:

Player1: Vere MNK, NIN, SAM, PUP, BST, DNC, SMN, SCH, BRD (can DB a SMN, RDM, seminaked BLM, Ukon WAR)
Player2: BLU, RDM, gimpWHM (can DB a SMN)
Player3: THF, Kannagi NIN, gimpwhm, gimpblm, gimpwar, SMN
Player4: BST, naked BRD, naked BLM

Talking about the normal version, not the Arch. Haven't fought him since the lv75 era.
Does he still pop with the 4 shadow dragons? I suppose he does, and I suppose he has the same abilities (chainspell, teleport, death) he used to have at level 75.
Still, now Dynamis - Beaucedine is an open zone, and you get "Confrontation" status when you pop it. How is a THF going to handle the kiting of dragons when he won't be able to get too far from the pop point and when he won't be able to drop alliance?
Will we be able to abuse Sudden Lunge to kill Angra before he can do anything dangerous or start teleporting around?

Aside from a couple of kills at level 99 where we had a full fledged PT and some mules, I only fought him at level 90 and as far as I recall we always used Brew, excluding the very first LS kills we did with a standard LS alliance.
How much HP does Apa approximately have? Will a single stunner be enough to keep him from casting spells and avoid levelups while we attempt to bring down its HP with the little DD we have? Will we need a real healer (WHM) or will alternatives like RDM and SCH be enough?

Rdm or sch with a good recast set can solo stun apademak, and can duo fine with a nin|thf|blu|mnk|whatever.

But I suppose even a secondary healer should be able to heal that, like a BRD/WHM, a SMN/WHM or of course a RDM or SCH.

When’s the appropriate time to swap in/out TH gear with TP/haste gear?
Like in dynamis for example. Should I just be landing the first few hits in full TH then swap into TP/haste?
Do I need to wait till I see Th+8 in the log before switching?

Also, what are a couple quick and easy dagger suggestions while I work on getting better daggers?
Currently using Lux/Thf knife. Any better alternatives?

What two top of the line daggers should I be working towards (excluding Mythic lol)?
Mandau/other?

Its a joke to dualbox on whm/blm + nin/war with rani atma on whm. It dies before it gains any resistance to stun and if a fluke resist does happen the only danger is lithic breath which you can avoid by moving to side if it turns to you. Fight at base of conflux 7 ramp with mage at top.
