Huge newb question but I just started using Motenten's spreadsheets. I noticed some missing gear in the ninja one, and tried to add it in the gear lists section. However the stuff I added is not showing up as an option in the gear selection section. I haven't used excel in forever, can anyone help? I figure it's either something stupidly simple that I'm missing or I'm doing it completely wrong. Thanks.

Don't add the row at the end of the list, insert a row in the middle. The ranges for the dropdrown menus don't stretch when you add an item at the end.

How do I get AH.com/LS community site to pick up a different Linkshell? I have it equipped and have logged in and out of XI and the community site several times but it still isn't showing up. My profile has been updating daily (Title/Level/Gear changes etc) just not the LS part or the ability to change community.

I know it isn't an instant thing but it's been 10 days (2 conquest cycles for what it's worth) and it still hasn't picked up the new LS so I don't know wtf else to do.

It's not a big deal but it doesn't look like just waiting it out will resolve it so it's kinda annoying me as to what is wrong now.

EDIT: And yes I have guildwork running too.

Obviously, I have to be on BRD, but my husband is a Vere MNK/Amano SAM/Decnet DNC and we have a mule that has THF and WHM. I was thinking going DD WHM BRD, but not sure if one DD is enough and no clue if MNK or SAM would be better. DNC THF BRD with the DNC "main healing" might work, too? Not sure. Sorry in advance for the noob questions but I'd like to knock these out as efficiently as possible.

Jeuno:
1. Best place/NM to kill for Boss pops?
2. Death anything to really worry about? (Spammy? Rare?)
3. Does this one pop with helpers? I don't see anything on the Wikis.
Windy:
4. Best place/NM to kill for Boss pops?
5. Death again - spammy?
6. Can the helpers be slept easily?
Beauc:
7. Can you silence the NM?
8. Really, can we just kill this fast enough or should I bring some help? (Also, TH for drops on pop items?)
Xarc:
9. How often does the horn charm? It charmed once when we did my fragment but it was fine because we had the mule on THF.

On a side note, I don't care about currency during these runs - just want to get the trials done ASAP.

You have to join the shell community on the LS Community website. It's kind of a stupid method of doing things.

1: theres a ton of nms that you can sac pull to the boss spawn point, theres usualy at least 2 up in within flee range. i'd recommend brd thf dnc. thf sac pull an nm.
2: dnc can solo mega easily, just make sure you have your finger on violent flourish for when he casts death. it can be spammy enough that it took me a couple tries doing it thf and rdm/blm because he'd cast it again before stun timer was up. sometimes he casts it once the whole fight, kinda random.
3: spawns alone
4: theres a few nms that spawn on top of the buildings that are probably your best bet, check the maps on BGwiki for a better idea of the extact POS, but theres more than 1 option. i'd avoid the smn nm on top of the AH.

6: helpers can be slept. i'd pop with your thf, dnc engage mega, pull adds to the side and lullaby. might be tough holding them long enough but idk if/how resistant they are to lullaby. i'm sure they'd be easy enough to hold on thf with lullaby here and there
7: not sure but doubt it
8: should be tougher to farm pops than kill the nm, just stun the big -agas
9: no clue, never fought it before, sorry

Thanks. I see where I was going wrong. I had to click establish/join community before actually logging into the site otherwise I couldn't get to that menu as I already had an LS once logged in (or if I could it was really well hidden as I clicked the shit out of everything last week!)



As for those 9 questions or rather the Beau/Xarc section.

We did the both the Beau and Xarc NM as Apoc DRK + BRD/WHM + Dual boxed THF without any problem. I think I got charmed twice by the attestation NM and once by Animated Horn across all the trials. It was never an issue on either though (and I did kill both the THF + BRD at one point when charmed) as both are easy. Just make sure support has RR up.

And yes bring TH. Drop rates can be kind or dickish in equal measure. We've had 10+ PI's in ~45 minutes with no TH before but equally at times we've gone the full 2 hours and only gotten 1 pop despite killing constantly. I'd definitely take TH if at all possible.

Farm at the boss ???

BRD+Vere should be able to plow through the NQs without having to worry about sacking anything. TH is a huge plus for the pop item.

The boss will die so fast you'll have nothing to worry about, maybe keep a stun handy. (Violent)

These 2 trials are so fast you won't even need TEs.

Beau - get TEs, pop items can take a while. The NM himself goes down fast though. We normally camp Pop items near the OP area. I recommend bringing 5 people just to hold all 5 pops.

Xarc - get the TEs since they are fast and easy. Then just kill the harps near the ??? spot. Super easy trial.

Can anyone figure out the Japanese here? The ブブプリン is giving me pause. I thought maybe it was for Botulus Rex (a fight I could really use which nobody seems to shout for anymore), but why would you need a paladin?
