shura kabuto +1 augmented with ws+3% and something else (ws3% not enough; conserve tp+6 enough, some str and attack enough)

Rancorous mantle instead of Atheling, Justiciar's/Gorget/Nefarious for VSmite.

Also, what for T2 merit category?

I'm currently 5/5 Penance 4/5 Invig 1/5 Formless because that was what was called for at 75.

Should I drop invig and go 5/5 formless?

5/5 Formless Strikes and 5/5 Penance. Invigorate was never terribly useful and now that Formless is more useful (especially with the Melee Cyclas +2 augment), it's not worth giving up the extra damage.

Is it feasible for any job to solo Orthrus/Dragua for Empyrean items? I was thinking Ochain, PUP, SMN, or BLU, but I'm not sure if they can kill them/if it would take absolutely forever

PUP, I doubt it. The AoEs would be too much for the automaton. Well, it could be tried, with the -mdt and same-element reduction attachments, but I don't think it would end well.

Completely forgot BST existed, although if spamming mulsims is necessary, it would become much less attractive.

Solo, not sure. I know that Gorion two-boxed a ton of Orthrus on THF and Dragua on MNK with his WHM.

I'd think Future Fabulous/Vicissitude would be "required", but would also submit that a lot of solos open up for a lot of jobs if you're willing to set them and can still kill your target before shell from the FoV book wears off.

I soloed dragua once on bst. Didn't use many mulsums (if any) but it took a full hour, wouldn't recommend it.

EDIT: atmas were DG RR FF (would have used dragua's own atma over FF if I had it), pet was falcorr.

Not mine. Atum is like 11 fishing or so, is a giant pain in the ass to skill up, and requires too much attention to do it while doing other things. (Some people still do things by hand.)

Anyone know of any other way to get dragon scales besides ash dragon, KS99 and the subsequent nms? Cause damn that is turning out to be a bigger cockblock then even hahava mail for dux armor lol
