allows you to bring random people and not worry about whether they grasp the idea of PDT/MDT sets or even gear swapping. Covers both magic and meele phase too. And saves you from feeding too much TP, if your healers are slow/suck. The downside is, it's slower.
Or just bring a Twilight-DRK or two and embrava the hell out of it. Stona Paralyna and Echo Drops will be your best friends.

Mnk+sam+whm+sch is more then enough to kill it, Keep both DD's in front no need for stona. Less people you bring = the better. Though I do find that smn helps with Ultima.

After trying it out SA+Feint seems to be working wonders, I'm convinced it's just the first feint hit that gets the bonus.

Can somebody explain why my cursor moves all by itself when I open conquest/besieged/campaign map? Doesn't matter if I use the command or if I go via menu, cursor will move by itself towards the lower right corner and eventually stop. I can move it myself, but as soon as I stop it'll jump to somewhere near the middle of the map and then towards the lower right corner again. Pretty annoying to say the least.

If you are on PC, I think it has to do with the mouse cursor taking priority for no good reason. Sometimes the mouse will make the game controls flip out suddenly.

This has been happening ever since I got a new pc 3 months ago. Any way to fix it? It's every damn time too, not just occasionally. Also having issues with cursor sometimes jumping from MH to inventory by itself when I try to move gear around. I can move it to MH but it will immediately move itself back to my inventory.

Just throwing ideas, but do you have Hardware Cursor enabled in game config? Also, is it any funky mouse using dedicated software (gaming mouse), or just generic windows drivers?

Need a recommendation on a good spot to skillup. Need to do axe, great sword and scythe from around 215ish to cap (on WAR). Don't have a mule so would need somewhere to do it solo. Heard of some Abyssea spots using regen atmas, but not too sure of the specifics on that. Any help would be mucho appreciated.

I've always done mandys in abyssea-attohwa (can just aggro a few, and no nm around), /dnc and some -PDT gear, with apoc, mounted champion and uh - idr 3rd atma, I think I've used either another regen atma or a hp+ atma.

IIRC, the last theory about skillup food was that each gives a static boost to skillup, the higher tier ones giving a bigger bonus, with no correspondence with current skill level.

How 'bad' a DD is Gungnir DRG compared to the other top tier weapon/DD's? I mean I've put the numbers into the DPS spreadsheets so have a rough idea, I'm just not sure I believe the numbers because of just how far behind it is as a quick glance.

Are we really talking like virtually half the DPS of Apoc and aeons behind Ragna? (I only checked in full buff scenario versus Ig-Alima)

I noticed that someone added the JPwiki information to BGwiki. According to them, the foods give different increases to your skill up rate, I believe the highest food was 1.8x.
As for which is true? Iunno.
