What's the rule for using the Ele Necks/Belt for WS over a piece that add a MOD, I know some types of WS they are awful for but I forget what ones? Specifically I'm Currently Looking at Victory Smite and Shijin Spiral

The higher the total fTP of the WS, the worse gorgets become. Total fTP isn't always the number displayed on BG wiki though. You need to include additional hits.

Also some ws have better mods. And some jobs just have killer mod equipment in those slots too.

But if you want to be really general (mind you this doesn't always apply) but for ws that you'd actually use generally only I thinks some relic ws and ones that have ftp carry over would be the ones you'd use gorgets for.

I'm not sure about ogier's/phorcys. But for part two, DRK is bale +2 but WAR is a bit tougher. Avant +1/relic+2?

I've been gone for a few months and when I was playing, I still had a little out dated gear due to casual playing.
My question is, does anyone have a link or could show me the absolute best gear sets for an Amano/Masa SAM?

I'm thinking of reactivating and I can't think of a better goal than trying to get the best gear or close too.

In VW, especially on Kaggen, I notice sometimes I get a random message like "XXX gains something %", and it can be anywhere from 0%-15%, and it sometimes affects more than 1 person. What does that mean?

It's different then the normal stagger stuff, it happens randomly. If I wanted to sit there and research it and spend the time looking for it myself, I would have. 99% of these questions in this thread can be answered from BGwiki, if I wanted a link to BGwiki I would have asked.

How do you get a Mythic/relic/etc on the Test Server? Pretty sure it had something to do with a moolge.

Talk to the Magian Weapon moogle, go to the trial whose reward you want (BGwiki has them all up to at least 95, some to 99) and choose the "view the reward" option. Once you've viewed the reward, it'll ask you something like, "Would you like to obtain this item?" Say Yes, and you have a weapon.

Speaking of Relics/Mythics, for Laevateinn, Nirvana and Tupsimati, does the OA2-3 affect magic spells/pacts? I only tested physical pacts last time and my client wants to crash every time it tries to get on.
