Anyone know which "Nightmare Monsters" in Dyna-Valkurm drop DNC head -1? With all the changes it seems the data was wiped, but I know it's still tied to specific creature types.
Copypasting for a friend who can't post links yet.

http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/266743 FUDO

Sorry for the broken links, I've never posted before.
My question is how do I keep my 5 hit after shoha/fudo the most optimal way?
Also what would be proper hasso: up/down beserk: up/down sets
I am currently in the process of finishing wotg for my tp bonus earring, and the elusive g mala which doesn't exist for me ; ;
Thank you in advance =)
There is a way to make the wired controller work.
Either use XBCD drivers (last version is 0.2.7). Get some info HERE.
Or use Masahiko Morii's drivers. Can find 'em HERE.
Despite the page being in japanese, drivers are available in english too.
For you and your wired controller it's the second link from that page. I'll give you the direct access, click HERE
Work perfectly on my wired controller on my old PC.
He made drivers for the Wireless controller too but I'm having troubles in making them work on the new one (they do work, but right stick gets stuck in a direction). Yesterday night I tried to connect my wireless controller on the old PC using Masahiko Morii's wireless drivers, and it works perfectly.
Then I spent the rest of the night (talking about several hours here) trying to clean my system's directories and registries on the new PC to try to make a new clean install and see if it works, but I didn't succeed. So I guess today I will do a format and try again.
I still have to sort out if that problem is a matter of "dirty installation" or some sort of incompatibility with the new PC, USB 3.0 ports maybe, or whatever else.
There will also be another, a third solution in the future, possibly.
The guys behind x360ce, which is a Dinput=>Xinput emulator, means it allows a generic Directinput pad to be considered by your PC as if it were an Xbox360 pad, so perfectly compatible with recent GamesforWindows Games, which are based on Xinput (Directx 9 and later).
So I was saying, these guys are working on a reverse emulation, Xinput=>Dinput. which will make an Xinput compatible joypad work as if it were a Dinput (Directx8, so FFXI) peripheral.
No clue if they will ever release this future, but they said they are working on it.
Another fourth solution could be in the new FFXI UI, maybe they will release some Xinput compatibility thing and that would solve all our problems, that way we would just use X360 gamepad with default MS drivers.
From the rounds we've done of the same stuff over and over, they drop the same -1's over and over. I wanted DRG -1 feet in Qufim and they weren't dropping (weapons/snolls, diremites, kraken), we moved to tigers (what I thought use to be what dropped them, as I knew it was something avoided way back in the day) and a couple tigers later, they dropped. The only time we get different -1's is if we change mobs. Maybe it's just one big coincidence... but the way things have been dropping for us it doesn't seem like it.
do af1+1 ranger hands & shantotto addon pants barrage +1 stack or not?
This confused the shit out of me our first run. Another thing to note is that the mobs hit pretty hard in Temenos basement II, just be prepared for it and sleep mobs you aren't actively fighting. Sounds trivial, but super tanking a bunch of mobs in older content is common and ppl may be on burned jobs where their skill is too low to zz mobs consistently.
YEah, only truely hard part for us (besides being confused about the start point) was the grah's that move around the zone. They fucking wrecked us the first time. Second time we brought a PLD to tank the NM and the adds while DD all /assissted one person and tore through the adds one at a time. Went sooooooo much smoother.
Anyone know if Devious Dice are being duped or there a way to dupe them? I'm noticing high amounts of dice being put up for sale in bazaars and hardly any people in WoE unless they've made it to WoE soloable by anything not SMN.
Are you sure there's no one there? During JP time on Bahamut there's usually 30-40 people (for maybe four hours) running WoE and the higher fluxes shit out dice.
So 18 silvers from having enough currency to finish gfs polearm. Already have her fragmet but we still need to get her Attestation it drops from bst/Smn/drg former. Anyone know how hard this guy is now and days? Could a thf Blu whm trio take him down fairly easy? Also what is the drop rate on pop items? My nin is much better geared and has kannagi but also have 99 thf if drop rate sux
Am I hallucinating, or did they add some sore of chat-line/macro syntax to set or unset blue magic spells? I would swear I remember reading it in one of those dev updates about a year ago, but I can't find any information on it.
Only change to blu spells is that they don't unset when you change jobs, though haven't been on blu for a while. Pretty sure that command-bluspell swaps isn't a thing though.
How strong is astral flow? I know Mijin from mildy does very little damage, but Astral Flow from nq dyna mobs will still hit me for 2500.
For difficulty, not hard. Did a run to 90 my Apoc a few days ago. Needed 2 more velo. NIN DRK RNG. Killed velo twice, and gun nm twice as well. (rng had 85 gun) with no problems aside from Velo oneshotting my dumb ass with EES while I had LR up. (2234 damage to me)
