I forgot alacrity existed, don't think I've ever used it, lol. Still thou, you'd run out of charges at just over 2 minutes into the fight unless I'm missing something.

-15% from spell haste, -16% from gear haste, -10% from dark arts -7.5% from the fast cast gear I have puts me at -48.5% recast. I guess if I throw in future fabulous or omnipotent atma I can get it below 20s without embrava/charges.

How long do you think it takes a 85 kannagi nin/war with standard pre-neonyzul gear to kill apademak with/without embrava anyway?

Is primeval brew still possible to get as a temp in Walk of Echoes? Last confirmation i've seen here was back in late march. I've entered/exited about over 100 times and never gotten it in my loadout of 5 random temps.

Nope, I didn't know the "Grimoire: Reduces spellcasting time" also affected recast, because I'm the worst SCH. AF feet and AF2+2 head would reduce recast by 5% over what I listed above. Thanks for catching that.

EDIT: For those that have done it, how time consuming is a thunder macc staff to make?

Can't quote well becaise lolphone, but for apademak if you take him to the ramp, the height difference will prevent most of the AoE damage. My LS did some dhormes for body seals and 5 manned Apa 7 times in about 20 minutes. Complete breeze. BLM WHM Kannagi NIN THF Apoc DRK.

I was able to solo stun on DRK. With capped haste amd magic haste along with Homam legs for the FC I had no problem stunning each spell. Our BLM still alternated stuns but I was still able to get every spell. Only danger was getting terrored and in all fights we never saw fulm once.

I've been trying to use Melo Melo to skillup GKT afk style with 3 regen atmas and it seems to wreck me quickly when the poison effect hits me. Am I doing something wrong here?

Yeah I was wondering about that myself. When I used to fight it in a group the poison was barely that bad. But when I recently tried to skill up when it did the poison move I started losing around 100hp/tic with over 50 regen on. Did they change it or something to stop afk skillups?

It seems now that the more you get hit the more the poison stacks, every hit adds around 20 hp/tic more to the poison.

For old Limbus, has anyone attempted killing Kaiser Behemoth using Bst? I've been doing Limbus for fun and coins and was going to try and build an omega set. Burned up my set I had from before and got head/hands

Soloed it on mnk the other day, interrupted every meteor. I'm sure you'd be fine with you and the pet to interrupt the casts.

Yep, just threw a falcor or two at it and used run wild.

Omega is soloable as well. I 'duoed' it with a nin that did nothing except kill a couple gunpods. Used dipper.

Yeah I did it this morning. My mule has bst with pdt axes and moogle help w/pdt. I put falcor on omega and used my main's DD to kill gunpods. got a chip too. Killed Omega in about 7 minutes. 2 reward and 1 dawn mulsim I think.

I would imagine it isn't that time consuming, since everything you need to kill lives inside of Abyssea. You'll be stuck killing them one at a time though, unless there's a BLU spell I don't know about that gives an AoE shock effect or you can kill a group of them before the stun wears off from Shock Squall.

I did a M.Acc dark staff back at the 90 cap and it went really fast as a duo (Manifestation + Blind -> Charged Whisker).

Took me about two weeks almost exclusively solo (using Shock), 2-3 hours a shot when I worked on it, probably 20-25 hours total. YMMV on waiting for weather in the first few trials.

Oh. Another note about Alacrity Stun. Use Thunderstorm and use Argute Loafers +2. Recast reduction changes from -50% to -65%. I don't see many people talking about this, but it's the biggest single change you can make to reduce the recast time if you're using Alacrity.

To add to this, I'd take two stunners for the pull to prevent the self-cast Thunder/level up thing.

He'll immediately cast a spell once he's popped - suggest to stun this spell and have the tank voke/whatever.

As you approach the ramp, he'll cast another spell (usually getting pretty close to the bottom of the ramp by then) - again, I suggest stunning it so he doesn't level up and use Fulmination (which would be terrible on the pull).

Once you're on the ramp, you want mages up top, melee on the ramp, about halfway up seems to do it.

I was pretty sure the first time I ever did it (a week or two ago) you either got kicked out of the menu entirely after buying, or at least got sent back to the start of the menu after each stack purchase.

Just did it now, and after buying each stack I was taken directly back to the "buy items" menu... Did this change, or am I imagining the original scenario?
