Looking to gear up my mule's BLM, but I don't know a ton about the job. Is any of the AF2+2 a must have?

IMO, almost all the AF2+2 is crap. The augments are definitely crap. The Legs actually get worse from base AF2 to AF2+2. The hands +2 is a replacement piece for AF1 hands, plus has a huge dark skill boost. If you don't have AF1 hands, then definitely get AF2+2 hands, if you have AF1 hands, AF2+2 hands are slightly better, and since touch are cheap, might as well.

So really want to farm cruor as fast as possible with about 4 people. We usualy CW mobs but is there a way to do it while keeping cruor chains? we pull 2 groups of mobs but they all die at the same time so how does that work?

Whats a good GoV are for 30-40 for a small group? (can u still do the gusgen skeletons at that level?) We just did the maze and plan on doing citadel and crawlers nest but not sure where to go before them. Thanks!

My parry skill is much higher than my shield, and parry checks before shield, right?
Trying to skill up shield.. but also weapons at the same time.

Is there a way to force shield over parry somehow while still having a weapon equipped?

Not really if you want to lvl weapon too. But you could change to a job with crap parry. Or maybe go to a higher lvl mob so you don't parry as much and use stuff to help you block more

Does anybody know if there is some kind of hotkey or a faster way to turn the sound on/off? The bar fills so awfully slowly and going through that before every cutscene is a bit of a bother.

I'm almost sure you have to have weapon out to parry, but not for shield. Just doublechecked, no mention either way on wiki for shield, but otherwiki says shield you just have to be roughly facing the mob where parry it says you need to have weapon drawn.

Edit: this does mean you can't do shield+weapon same time but at least you can force shield procs over parry...

You can block without being engaged. It's how Ochain super tanks stuff lol

Do the skillup earring and ring stack and work at any skill level? Also, if using skillup food of the appropriate level it stacks with both correct?

Did they ever figure out what BLM AF3+2 hands 'enhance Enmity Douse' does? Maybe it suppresses enmity for a certain amount of time?
