How long, in actual hours or "days", would it take to go from 25 to 90+ fishing? I leveled fishing to 25 back in 2006 but haven't done any crafting/fishing outside of that. And, would it be worth it in the long run considering I'd just be buying Lu Shangs for 5m probably.

What recipes to people use to level up Synergy these days? I can only find super outdated guides. I have cooking so I assume I can just take juices the entire way or something there something you can just spam? Cheers

Kinda depends on luck and what route you take and if you get a skillup ring... but with ring you could definitely get that done in under 2 weeks. You could make the 5 mil back if you fish a decent amount a couple of weeks after that. But for the real money you need an ebisus

I'm going for Spharai and I'm faced with two ways: solo in dynamis or make lots of gil to buy the currency. I barely did dynamis when it was new so I'm not familiar with how easy soloing would be but I also don't have a clue what would be a good moneymaker solo if that's possible. Suggestions on either route? Planning on gearing mnk for evasion with a chakra swap. Also have smn.

It's tough to do solo dynamis on MNK - as you need TH and either a JA spam or 'WS' spam (ie PUP or /PUP for strobe/flashbulb) to get a good return.

PUP/THF, THF/DNC, DNC/THF, BST/DNC [w/ Falcor] in no real order are the top dynamis solo jobs.

If you can duo with someone, MNK/DNC and leave TH to them - either mage/thf for DC or THF/DNC, DNC/THF, BST/DNC for EP.

Alchemy Ores (Mythril Leaf, Plat Leaf, etc) until 70 using Water Fewell spam. Craft stall until 80.

If I need 1,000 Resistance Credits to buy Ravager's Cuisses from Attohwa, can I earn those credits participating in Bastions being fought in other zones, or are Resistance Credits to be spent in Attohwa only earnable within Attohwa?

When doing trials for relic/mythic/emp from 95>99 can you complete nq 99 then upgrade to afterglow later? If so does the items you turned in for the nq count towards afterglow?

Did they change the requirements to enter Odin? I just did NQ Odin and half my pt couldn't enter for some reason. I assume only the person entering needs the feathers, as I did it like that awhile ago, and it worked fine.

They changed (fixed) it, it was broken. Everyone needs at least 1 feather from each tier to enter.

MNK/DNC does just fine with TH Sash. You pull in 250+ once you get into the rhythm of Dynamis.


@Trix Get a Tarutaru Sash from Abyssea LaTheine with TH Augment. No real need to worry about an evasion set when fighting Dynamis EP mobs as 1. Your Evasion rate is high anyway and 2. You'll be full timing Counterstance. If you do find a partner I recommend a THF/DNC and doing DCs. EPs are bad in a MNK duo since they die way too fast.

Like the one granted by the Anwig Salade, has anyone tested to see if that one only works on first hit like "Weapon Skill Damage"?

No, because it's hard to test. We know that:
1) The first hit of WSs gets a massive (~+100) Acc boost anyway, so it wouldn't make much sense to further increase that.
2) Gorgets seem to work on all hits of the WS.
