    Actually, it does assume WS in ogiers as well. In that case, it doesn't need houyi, as you said.

    In regards to level 99 and old mob levels..

    While all mobs that were con'd EP at 75, still remain EP, what of the DC and EM mobs? Do they still con the same, or are they knocked down to EP now?

    In short.. looking for DC/EM mobs outside of Aby.

    DC should be mobs that are 1-7 levels under you. So yeah, old DC/EM mobs are now EPs.

    Can, but generally shouldn't. You can get a large chunk of MND in those slots, which will generally out-cure Serpentes even without using curepot weapons, and the recast reduction from Mavi Bazubands +2 is there if it happens to matter. I use Mavi +2/Thaumas for 19 MND.

    Glavoid

    I've put together two groups for Glavoid farming/killing in the last two days comprised of WAR/WHM/THF/NIN, and both times we've wiped/lost Glavoid to other groups. We have no trouble until Disgorge. The way we fight it is, I'll stay off it and stand by in case the NIN goes down. Every time Glav uses Disgorge, it one shots the NIN. Once the NIN goes down, I then take over tanking on WAR with my PDT set on, swapping to my MDT set when it's using magic. With my PDT/MDT sets, tanking Glav is a joke, until it one shots me too with Disgorge. Bear in mind, our WHM keeps up Pro V/Shell V/Barstonra, even getting it back up immediately following Purgation. What is the remedy besides brewing? Everyone tells me they solo Glav by using their main on NIN and duo boxing a WHM mule. Is this just a lie? How does the NIN avoid being one shotted by Disgorge?

    So what would you say my best bet is? Should I have the NIN turn away immediately following Gorge so Glav isn't absorbing damage? How long does Gorge last for? Should I make sure to bring a BLM for stunning Disgorge? Sorry, I don't have much experience with Glav, so if these questions are dumb, I apologize. Other than these two attempts, the only other experience I've had with it is showing up when it was at about 2% HP for the win a few weeks ago.

    The NIN should be turning around every time Glav does a TP move to not give it HP back, because Glav's disgorge is based on how much HP's he's regained from everything. As for stunner, I'll let others speak on it. Also, your THF should be able to hold the mob anyways, unless if it's a mule account with... nothing on it...

    WHM/BLM is fine. When I farmed Glavoids we always had a BRD/BLM as our only stun, no issues.

    Most of the time disgorge isn't lethal; I believe it is only excessive when it gorges many times before finally disgorging but it could be relative to how much damage is healed as a whole.

    Whenever I do Glavoid it is with 2 heavy DDs, a 2boxed THF, and and 2boxed WHM. The DD's can usually take it down no problem but every once in a while it will get one of those lethal disgorges off. When that happens, the THF and WHM that were standing out of range can hang onto it indefinitely while the DDs unweaken. Kite it around, it stops to cast a lot so you'll find it's very easy to do.

    Also, gorge does not have a duration but like any TP move Glavoid uses, you need to hold on damage for a couple seconds after it goes off so you don't heal it.

    Is it necessary to bring a healer for DC mobs in Dynamis? I was thinking about duoing MNK+THF instead of soloing as BST, but when I've fought them in the past it's been pretty rough -- pretty accurate attacks for 80-150 DMG, high damage WS, etc.,

    It is not, farmed DCs in a duo, /DNC is enough for any DD, as long as you have signet on, it shouldn't be a problem, unless you have more than 2 adds on you, you don't even needed drain samba on to be over 80% HP full time.

    Thanks for the replies. So basically turn away for 10 seconds following each TP move that it does. I'll give that a try next Glav.

    10 seconds will probably be a bit excessive but you'll get the hang of the timing after trying it out a bit. Turn as soon as you see the TP move animation starting to go off and wait until a few seconds after the entire animation of the move is done and over with.
