I do RR/Apoc/Sea of daughter: Regain+: Superior (5TP/tick) Reason for this set up in-case of a death, when I go AFK after proc or when I don't want to feed TP to the mob, I just run to the NM and WS.

Yeah I would only use while strictly needing to proc. I find this handy when 2boxing NMs like Rani, Shinryu, etc. I hold the NM with Gooey Gerald while using the other account to proc. I'd rather get 7tp/tic than feed tp while having a pet tank.

The other person died and couldn't rr the last half hour so we only got maybe 50 currency, but it still seems like it would be low if they stayed alive. Is there some faster way? I'm hearing stories of people soloing their relics but it seems incredibly tedious.

Edit: oh and is the 5th te worth getting/safe?

The other person died and couldn't rr the last half hour so we only got maybe 50 currency, but it still seems like it would be low if they stayed alive. Is there some faster way? I'm hearing stories of people soloing their relics but it seems incredibly tedious.

5th TE is required to get a 100% drop slot from proccing.

So, I brought up my BST dynamis ventures and got ridiculed for it, so I looked to see if I could improve my farmings. I was able to up my currency count from 100~ to about 140~ by proccing a mob, leaving pet on it, and going to a dif mob to proc while pet killed the first procced mob. That being said 140 still seems low, and perhaps kill speed from improving gear could help, but I don't see it being that much of an improvement. 140 currency a run is still pretty low compared to numbers I've heard..are the people getting 180-200+ really decked out and farming at off-peak hours to decrease competition?

I get round about 200 as dnc/nin +whm/thf, but I do a zone where the TEs take forever, and I do a shitload of running around to different camps.

So, after 1.25 relics worth of farming on BST, I'm bored as all hell on it now and I'm gearing up THF (also my cousin is a BST and we're duoing BST THF).

How do you THF solos deal with quadav and orc TEs? Do you bring some deodorizers to pop before hide on the orcs?

Competition is going to lower your numbers regardless, mostly because some people, when they see a BST doing that "leave pet on procced mob" thing, will try to kill the mob via WSing it and steal your currency. Because yellow is fair. Off-peak hours seems like a good idea. Can't really comment on gear because I don't know BST gear though. What WS are you using by the way?

Has Ochain/Aegis afterglow ever actually been tested? I mean, it's not really important or anything, since no one's going to make an afterglow shield. But I do think the potency(and whether the effect breaks caps) should be known.

Assuming they are just PDT and MDT, as SE told us, this would be extremely easy to test on the test server. I wouldn't mind testing, but obviously need someone else there to either bestow or receive the afterglow effect.

My BST's gear is pretty bad (Mostly scenario reward gear, no Ruinator, haven't bothered making many gear swaps) and I get over 140 coins in a run on occasion. Biggest factor in that is staying the hell away from the Hippo Goobbue Funguar path.

I usually Link 4-5 mobs at once with pet let him tank all, proc first and rotate til there all procced then proceed to kill them. So far havent had any stolen even with 1-2 other people doing the same mobs. I also don't take other peoples they are working on, guess depends on your server and other people in the zone.

Get 5th time extension or your wasting your time.

+1 on certain camps and/or staying away from competition. I 2box a thf/dnc and bst/dnc. I don't parse my loot but I'd say I average around 275 or so, but the biggest factor is competition. Personal best was 342 in Bubu when I had the zone to myself and I raped the EP's. I scan which zone has the fewest in it and also see if there are others waiting outside to enter.

About the tactic beastmasters use of leaving a pet on 1 mob and grabbing another(or multiples). I don't bother a Bst if the camp isn't cluttered or if they aren't being an ass in general. But if the camp is full, ie hippos in valk, or you camp on top of me and you try pulling that crap I'm going to WS your mob every chance I can. Most Bst get the picture real quick. If not, easy currency for me.

Your gear now doesn't look too bad, but there are some easy improvements. Also, are you utilizing spellcast so you don't slow yourself down with dusk while running? Take a day and do ZM and get Suppa. I duo'd Divine Might with a Dnc using my mules 99Bst. Ask a friend to help out. I see you have Blu listed as well. I'd suggest farming pops for Ulhuadshi for your Bst +2 head. It's only 2 KI and with grellow it usually drops 3 vision coins. I'd also take a day and farm Bst hands and feet. Also, I assume you're using food in dynamis? At least use a Bison Steak if not. Byrth said it best that if you use red curry buns you'll use 4 during your run, which is about 42k gil or 6 obronze/bynes. The benefit from using a superior food will easily make up in currency earned for the money spent on the food.
