Basically a remote area anywhere in the past (or ToAU) that isn't tied to a mission or quest.

Or most any area in the past. Whole expac is a ghosttown outside of the main campaign spots.

Doesn't really matter either way. I've seen people run a Magic Fruit skillup script right outside of the MH in Port Sandy for 4 days straight without ever landing in jail.

Back when I leveled DNC long time ago my gear was much worse than it is today, and this is one of the reasons why I went 5/5 closed position, in addition to my 3/5 NFR, 1/5 Saber and 1/5 Fan.
Now my gear, while still very average, is much better than the one I used to have back then. (and even then, CP was probably a debateable merit)
Because of this and in light of the recent group 2 merits adustments, I was thinking it could be worth to just get rid of my 5/5 Closed Position (if I'm not wrong it's "just" 15 acc and 15 eva, no?) and get something else. was thinking 5/5 saber 2/5 Fan Dance.
Consider that the few times I use DNC it's usually in Dynamis with 1-2 friends.

    Suggestions?

Additional Fan Dance merits reduce waltz recast now (not Fan Dance recast), so you should probably go 4/5 NFR, 5/5 Saber, and 1/5 Fan.

What's the best dd axe combo for bst outside of relic/mythic and 95+ emp? I assume str/atk magian for mainhand is better than ~90 farsha, but what about offhand?

I believe STR/STR is generally best.

    STR/ATT and DA +11, or DA+11X2.

Can't equip two DA+11x2 as far as I know.
Wouldn't Morta's Axe be a decent option too for MH? Altough with its low droprate I guess it's not even a particularly considerable option.

I thought you could equip 2 of any trial magian aside from Farsha, if not then (sp)Ayntari/DA < Ayntari/Gibbeos > Ayntari/STRandATT > Gibbeos/DA > DA/STR > Gibbeos/STR > 2 STR is what I would say.. I forgot about Ayntari because I'm 0/197 on it and counting. The Gibbeous axe does pop out beefy ruinators, I almost feel like it has a hidden effect only during WS.

Weapons of the OAT/DA/OA2-4 path are Rare/Ex, sadly.
In the past, for some jobs, dualwielding two of them could have produced some really interesting results but alas you cannot.

I even have one lv99 DA path weapon, for another job. I think it's one of the worst DA weapons, yet I was so further down the trial that I decided to complete it... Sigh... If only you could turn back time, inorite?

Shows that I haven't done that path for my BST yet, I'm perfectly content with my Gibbeos/PDT Axe until I can do Ayntari/Gibb for DD.

Anyone have good strategy set ups for Flux 15 in WOE?

Same strategy as ADL, more DD the better. I would recommend everyone sac'ing to where he is, all just run and die. Reraise(Auto reraise in WoE), and have someone OUTSIDE of alliance, sacking the other Caturei he calls during your fight, this person stands at the top of the stairs. Zerg him down, he isn't to hard with PD. Caturei are alliance hate, so if one person gets hate in alliance, prepare for death.

You left out the most important strategy for any Walk of Avatars conflux.

    Avatar strategy:
    * Mad dash for the final boss area. You'll agro a bunch of crap and people will die on the way, but it doesn't matter because you're Summoners.
    * One guy keeps sac'ing the Caturae up the stairs.
    * Call out your avatars and kill it with BPs. It's good to mix up your elements, as most of his attacks seem to have some kind of elemental affinity. Diabolos, Ramuh, and Leviathan were favorites the last time I did this. Diabolos takes the least damage, which is nice if you care about not dying and doesn't matter at all if you don't mind death.

    Takes maybe 15 minutes?

    SMNs, SMNs and more SMNs.

Everyone goes solo. (mobs have alliance hate)

PD someone and train all the mobs to the bottom steps to Mingyi (boss). Have everyone die there. Stay down until the mobs walk back up the stairs.

Then just use Diabolos and chip away at him. A few SMNs can use Garuda to speed things up, but Diabolos tanks him better.

I did the SMN strategy, fight is horrible long as compared to a 1 run dine and ditch. I do recommend the SMN strategy if you want to do multiple runs though.

Also Protip: DO NOT SHOUT IN JEUNO FOR A PICKUP GROUP. Worst mistake you can make, the design for WoE has serious flaws, last couple times we did that, we shouted, got 18 men, showed up to already 20+ lvl 75+ RMT, gimp as tits players waiting for us to enter to leech a win.

Why is riftcinder five times the price of dross, when ukon seems to be the most popular 95+ emp? Is it just more rare?
