3. sleep bolt stuff faster than you can hit the button

Could anybody tell me where the damage of Everyone's Grudge caps if used by a Tonberry on a player?

I'm currently getting to 75 on my first job (DRG/RDM) and I'm in the Den of Rancor since I used to farm there on my first char. Originally, I just wanted the map, then I realized that I could actually make some money there with Thief's knives as well as a shot at the Rancorous mantle. Wound up getting both of them in the first two hours, so I'd like to continue in the Den of Rancor, at least until 75 or so. Nonetheless, Everyone's Grudge becoming significantly stronger than it currently is (~500 damage) would be inconvenient to say the least, so just in case, are there any other camps that are comparable as far as both money and experience points are concerned? Don't really want to run to Norg for the hate reset quest.

If I remember correctly from when I was playing, the cap is something like 60,000. Once you hit that point, it doesn't actually stay capped, but rolls back down to 3,000 then starts over again. I've never cleared tonberry hate on my character so it's just gone through the cycle more than a few times.

Since I've never actually reset hate, I just had to look up the quest. lol It looks like you only need to get the KI from Norg once, then you can reset the hate directly at the temple for gil each time.

You only need to go to norg once to do the reset hate quest. After that, you can just talk to the tonbery and pay the gil to have hate wiped away.

1. get the weakest crossbow and bolts you can from npcs
2. make a simple script that spams /ra and equips bolts
3. afk skill up on fortalices to like 230ish
4. do the same thing on aby-grauberg crabs with regen atmas to cap

Yes, that is true, guess I should just walk there once and stop being lazy.

Well machine is one of the lower base dmg ones... and with sleep bolts you don't need regen atmas! Think there is only 1 snapshot one though .

Semi related note has anyone done any detailed modelling of holy bolt dmg?

For Forgotten Items, yes. AF drops from the sky from EP and DC mobs. Currency is debatable. Pop items only drop when you don't want them.
