Just going to cosign what everyone else has already said. This movie was amazing. If you don't see it, you are doing a disservice to yourself.

Got through it, thought it was going to be fun and amazing and it felt like one long movie trailer. Will admit read here before going to see it(no spoilers), the hype people brought to it with their post had me super hype. Guess I am old because, I didn't care about Max and lines seemed very limited for Tom Hardy, who is a fucking amazing actor. Was waiting for him to say something, anything and just grunts for majority of the movie. Will buy on blu-ray with hopes of this getting the watchmen treatment (hope for 5 different versions). Just needed more from the actors and actresses but good ol George gave me beautiful (don't get me wrong )destructive mayhem for two hours plus. This was turn your brain off fun but then you appreciate the art in terms of stunts but the movie itself B- for me, A+++ for stunts and scenery. Almost like SquareSoft graphics(beautiful and amazing) but fighting game storyline (simplistic to a 'T').

Max had 16 lines in Road Warrior, maybe less in the first. It's part of who the character is. So sorry for your loss

I don't know what you were expecting from Tom Hardy. Except for letting the accent slip a teeny bit at times he basically did a perfect impression of Max.

Tyren all this talk about reinventing the Max should of been shot then. Plus thought they started off differently i'll go watch the original Mad Max, swear he said more in Mad Max.

Was expecting Warrior level acting with even more brutality. What I got was the brutality with stunt driver(90s pc game was terrible) cinematics which still looked amazing nonetheless

People complaining about this having less or worse acting than Road Warrior are remembering Road Warrior through rose colored glasses. I watched Road Warrior for the first time 2 days before watching Fury Road. Tom Hardy had just as much to say as Mel Gibson did, which is to say, not very much at all.

Watched this today along with Avengers. So gewd. Much, much faster paced than Avengers.

movie was dope as fu, those chase scenes tho. only ragrat is that there wasn't more prolonged hand to scenes, the one fight over the handgun was prolly the best choreographed melee fight i've seen since The Raid

I think it'll be alright, word of mouth and the excellent reviews will likely give it staying power. I'm gonna be catching it again this weekend for sure.

The end of that scene with the clip and firing into the sand was fucking amazing.

Oh, I'm going to watch it again, this time in 3D. How's the 3D, btw?

3D's pretty good. Nothing overdone and nothing glaring.

I watched it in 3D first and then in 2D. It's not bad but I don't think it added anything special to it either. Is just as good in 2D.

There's not any scenes that stick out immensely in 3D, but it does add quite a bit to the larger scale shots like the sandstorm

This movie should for sure be getting award nominations for everything related to the sound in addition to the cinematography and visuals.

The person who accepts the music award should be the guitarist.
