I can't decide what to get

. The posters and cards are ok, but I think I'd enjoy Majora's Mask more than either. Was debating hold my points until I hit the thousands, are there every any super rare items that go up for a limited time only that would be worth holding them for?

Very, very infrequently, and they tend to sell out on the day they hit the rewards page. The last limited time item that they put up was the Mario hat 3DS/DS pouch, and that thing flew off the site within a day or two.

You can manage to snag some of that stuff if you're careful about watching the site, but most people are sitting around and holding on to their points for something worthwhile to pop up, so it's a mad dash whenever something does.

On topic, posters. I actually thought the pin set from last year was one of the better things they did (though not on par with the little statue), but it seems like the whole program is in decline. Though adding the using points for downloadable games thing is a step in the right direction.

Damn I wish I got that Mario hat 3DS pouch when I had the chance. I had no idea it was a limited thing. I remember seeing it in my FB feed and thinking it was pretty cool, but I was too lazy to redeem it.

I'm probably going to get the posters, assuming my wife will let me hang the Zelda one somewhere. The playing cards look neat, but I'll probably end up looking at them once and then putting them in some drawer.

Damn, I have shit for points this time. Last time I burned them all last-minute on the plush Mario hat and Animal Crossing playing cards.

Hanafuda cards are the only thing I would bother with if I had points.

Protip: If you work/know someone who works at a Gamestop. When someone comes in and trades in games just check the boxes for the Club Code insert. Years ago when I worked as a manager at one our DM said it was completely fine as long as the codes were not related to the games themselves (FFXI expansion codes/DLC/etc.)

I think the people I worked with racked up over 2k in points in a year alone that way. Most people never register/take advantage of the Club points anyways.

Also don't waste your points on MM. Just softmod your Wii already..

I went for the Luigi hat pouch over the Mario hat pouch. I lurv it. Took the calendar again this year (still a shitty reward).

Yeah this year's rewards all suck. Nothing there is worth more than like $5 (for buying $600+ worth of games/systems assuming full retail). I think Majora's Mask was even on the Club Nintendo rewards shop at some point in the past year as a weekly deal for like 100 or 150 points.

Sometimes the website glitches and allows you to process multiple orders. Along with changed the name on the addy or location. It will make it look less suspicious.
