They always sit on pending for a while with the limited edition stuff, Nintendo is pretty good about not letting people over order the LE goods on Club N though. Can't say I've ever had an issue, though sometimes it takes a while for them to actually ship anything out.

Go to store, buy Wii/etc. Use code in box, return. 99.9% of people I know with money float to do this.
