RE4 had tank controls; movement was based on the characters facing, not the camera. No strafing. While aiming you were essentially a turret, no movement.

The new remakes have camera relative movement while running around, and third person shooter controls when aiming; you can move and strafe.

Then yes, it was exactly like PE2. Only forward would move you and you'd go the direction you're currently facing, all other turning just changed which direction you'd face.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was a serviceable action RPG when it released in 2012. In his review, Tom described it as having great combat and loot, but "generic world design and a familiar story." Nevertheless it has established a small cult following over the years, and THQ Nordic's 2018 acquisition of the brand renewed hope that the series would return.

It's not quite a return, but the game is getting a remaster. A listing on the Microsoft Store confirms that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will release on August 11. According to the product description it is "remastered with stunning visuals and refined gameplay," and all DLC will be included.

I don't getting a remaster, but I find it humorous that the remaster is going to improve the visuals and gameplay, when the actual issues were the world design and blase story. Doubling down on what did work instead of what did not is one strategy, but not the one I'd use if I were trying to bring in new players and new revenue.
