Feeling kinda bad for the fans of the series. I think Ryza had a pretty good reception and brought in a lot of new players and now they're doing a gacha game, ouchKoei Tecmo and Gust held a live stream revealing Atelier Resleriana: The Forgotten Alchemy and the Liberator of Polar Night as a new mainline Atelier entry that will be available in 2023 in Japan on PC via Steam and iOS/Android mobile devices. An overseas release outside of Japan has yet to be announced as of this writing.
Sigh, damn it. The Ryza games were pretty good (still need to start 3), guess I'll skip over this one.
The original Red Dead Redemption will finally be playable on PS4/Switch but apparently it's just a straight port and not a remaster with no new content and no online multiplayer.. and it's $60. ^^;

Less content actually, because it will have no multiplayer
Which I don't get. Weren't the sessions hosted off of the player connections, as per usual of that era? If so, at worse they could have removed the back-end server that directed players into the existing sessions and made it friend-only invites, just to preserve that content with no server maintenance costs on their end. In either case, the game is still available for cheaper for modern Xbox owners, w/ multiplayer intact since it's a BC title, which makes this announcement of a no-frills re-release with missing shit even more baffling.

Everyone who plays that game is going to have their identity stolen and then get raped.

Retro Bandwagon is too attractive for firms nowadays. Even I found myself getting a PSVita, and briefly looked for a working clean Amiga.
What makes this one a bit interesting is that it can actually play the old cartridges. It looks decent as a retro item as well, Somewhat cool, I won’t be interested but some people surely will.
I always wanted a Vita and never was able to find one.

Vita was ever hard to find??
I got one pretty easily online
Brand new Vita's are best found in Japan through ebay. Newer 2000 models with best colors too.
Also just figured out that Japanese sellers on ebay are one of the most ethical ones. Their "used" is very good, and "very good" is near mint, maybe only with an open box.
Atrociously stupid system holy shit. Everytime your game is installed it charges the dev $.20. New computer? .20, corrupted file? .20, rerolling a mobile game? .20 per reroll. Imagine launching a mobile game that gets 2mil+ downloads, congrats on launching your title 400k in the red out the door. I can't imagine any mobile or f2p game will use Unity ever again.
I'm not going to sit here and pretend I have the most in depth knowledge of how badly you can abuse this system but the chance of malicious installs are there and easy to do according to my Cyber-Security friend. It opens up such abuse of the system aside, and apparently leaving the developers responsible for finding/detecting abusive installs and reporting them. ICK
They either reverse this or Unity is fucked and instantly becomes an unstable financial burden for any developer to consider, and for any F2P developer its suicide.
Doing damage control/backpedaling already.

That said, if MS has to pay the install fee it may impact future game pass deals.
