sorry, we consider the 3rd round, the 1st round...the keepers are actually the first 2 rounds. but yea, im thinking its not worth it even though i will only have 5 players after 10 rounds (plus keepers) when every1 else will have 12ish

No matter what you consider it, it's still the first drafting round. With that logic though, you're giving up a definite 1st round talent and a 3rd rounder for 3 4th rounders. That's egregious value, and not even close to equitable.

It's a Dynasty league; you pick a team that is intended to last basically forever. Like a long-term keeper league. Has to be deep to allow replacements and depth since players get old, retire, etc. We have 2 IR spots too. There's a 3 round rookie draft each year, too.
And my last pick was Alex Henery btw

I'm the commish of the dynasty league Skirk mentions. Starting the draft mid-July is an unfortunate drawback of the large rosters and the nature of the draft, which is essentially a message board draft like what we did for the 20 man, except it's for all 25 rounds and it's done on the league website. We are in the 25th round now, so yeah, I probably overestimated how long it would take, but I didn't want to take any chances. Besides, we draft these players for the long haul, so it's not the end of the world if somebody gets huge injury that knocks them out for a couple games.

My roster: (This is .5 PPR by the way, everything else is pretty standard)

QBs: Schaub, Luck, Locker
RBs: Foster, Ingram, Best, K. Smith, Hillman, Hunter, D. Lewis
WRs: Nicks, Harvin, Wayne, Britt (pick made before DUI), Cobb, V. Brown, Hartline, Childs (whoops), Brazill
TEs: Davis, Rudolph, Allen, Cameron
Def: Seattle, Atlanta

It's my first dynasty league, but I think I made out pretty well. Lots of youth with upside.

I heard rumblings of a BG Dynsaty some pages back. If it happens next year, I'd possibly be up for joining it.
