My league wants to try doing IDP this year. I have never done one before. Can anyone post their IDP roster positions and limits? And, an idea for scoring? Thanks.

Also, because paypal is being a gigantic dick and their overall history of fucking horrible customer service, I have to change the means of collection for BG money. Two ways.

1. Amazon payments. If you don't have an amazon account, you damn well should. Make one. https://payments.amazon.com/sdui/sdui/index.htm
It's easy and setup very similar to paypal. No fees.

2. Paypal. If you send paypal, your entry fee will be increased to reflect the charges paypal now assesses (gift is also now subject to fees).

Tyche, have you looked into LeagueSafe? My rift guild used that last year and the only fee was 3 bucks to have my e-check rushed to my account to collect my winnings.

with this scoring i always found that LB's give the best numbers because of the number of tackles they get credit for. Sure you're going to have some star CBs and DEs that put up good numbers and sometimes have really good weeks but they seem a little less consistent and more reliant on turnovers/sacks and even TDs

I wouldn't object to an auction draft. I have only mocked auctions before, though, but I'm up for something new.

I've only done normal leagues with 2 extra defensive spots(DB and DL), but if you are doing defensive players onry, which sounds really fun, I would make it mirror a real NFL defense. So something like:

2 DT
2 DE
3 LB (If they specify inside/outside I would make that distinction)
2 CB
2 S

I would also change from Tweek's scoring. It isn't terrible but I think splash plays (sack/ff/int/TD etc) should be worth way more than tackles.

The leagues have always been almost identical. The drafts are what are different. E switched to auction 2 years ago I think, and West will most likely be Auction as well. This doesn't mean that South has to. For West to increase playoff spots to 6 that means E and S should also (just to keep them all identical).

As for the two spots in west I am giving the former owners another week or so to take their spots. If they don't come back I will make the proper postings.

Seeing as how this league is the champs, auction makes far more sense since it requires a bit more strategy.

Also, it's just plain way more fun imo.
