I'm with ya - I vote auction and 6 playoff teams for each of the three main leagues.

The leagues have always been almost identical. The drafts are what are different. E switched to auction 2 years ago I think, and West will most likely be Auction as well. This doesn't mean that South has to. For West to increase playoff spots to 6 that means E and S should also (just to keep them all identical).

As for the two spots in west I am giving the former owners another week or so to take their spots. If they don't come back I will make the proper postings.

That's what I was thinking as well. The last game of preseason week 2 is on the 20th, so we will begin as soon as that ends.

I was going to ask Tyche or whomever to make a new one as soon as I have all of the BG names of who to invite. It looks like Zoolander dropped out because there are now 18 teams, so as soon as I fill that space and Headspace accepts or declines his invite we'll get rolling.

I'm also going to assume the silence means that everyone is cool with draft starting on the 20th. For those that weren't part of the league last year, we will do the first few rounds of the draft post by post in a BG group so everyone can at least get their first few picks in even if they can't make the live draft.

Draft date isn't settled yet. I have to fill the league first. It will probably be on a Sunday evening. We'll keep it at $20 for now, if everyone is OK with $50 when we fillt he league, we'll do that.

Is scoring across East/West/South and the Champions league supposed to be uniform? If not, ignore the rest of this post.

After South was updated, there's still a couple discrepancies between South and Champions, including a pretty major one.

Differences in the scoring systems:

Passing TDs: 4 for South, 6 for Champions.
Passing INTs: -1 for South, -2 for Champions.
DEF Shutouts: 10 for South, 15 for Champions.
Allowed 35+ points: -4 for South, -5 for Champions.

The DEF scores aren't a big deal but passing TDs are a factor.
