Since I can't seem to find out how to answer a private note on yahoo, to answer Moss' question, I'm HE HATE ME in 20-man and BGE.
I change my team name a lot. My username is shit and has no funny team names that relate to it.
The draft order for 20-man has been randomized and posted in the group's draft thread. We will officially begin on Monday after the last game of preseason week 2, Eagles-Patriots.
Spoiler: show
MAN... 12th in a 12 man league and now 20th in a 20 man... picking at the turn suuuuucks.
Pretty much, getting 12th + 13th pick in a 12man is never really a bad thing, some good guys always there.
I usually agree with you, but the 12th/13th range this year is a spot I don't like. I've mocked a handful of times from this spot. Brees/Brady are usually gone, and I'm left with shaky RBs, and Fitz, who I'd rather not take because of how deep WRs are this year. I usually like to pick safe in the first so I don't want somebody like McFadden or MJD. There's a couple solid options in Stafford and Forte, but I find they tend to go a bit later. That means if I had a spot, say, in the 9th or 10th range, I can grab Brady or Brees and then grab somebody like Forte because they'll still be there. Basically, it feels like I'm not getting very good value by picking those guys.
And, in fact, I feel that way in the 3rd/4th round too, because all the guys I really like seem to go away just before my 3rd/4th picks roll around and I'm forced to grab guys that would normally go a bit later just because they are the highest remaining on my board.
christ wasnt i 18 last year too?
14th?????? fuckkkkkkkkkkkk
I'm 4th and I fully don't expect to see Rodgers/Brady/Brees available, shit sucks.
Yea I drafted Foster at 2 last year and he got injured for awhile, and then the stupid Texans started doing a RB committee most games cause they apparently have nothing but good RB in their depth chart. Him or Ray Rice aren't bad choices that high but I can see a week 1 injury coming along to troll me.
