Need some help here. In 2 leagues, one of them I'm drafting in tonight. Don't have a position yet for it but passing and rushing TDs are weighted the same (6 points) AND it's a PPR league. Can't trade draft picks. What's the best order for that? Does Ray Rice get bumped up to the #1 spot because he's more of a passing back than Foster and McCoy?

Now in my other league it's totally different. We CAN trade draft picks and I drew the number 1 pick. Passing and rushing TDs are still weighted at 6 points each. This league IS NOT a PPR league, which is annoying. In that case, I'd think I draft Rodgers #1 overall, no? Or maybe trade down to #4 in exchange for my #1 pick and a second rounder and then draft one of either Brady, Brees or Rodgers (best available)??

Pretty sure all three of those backs catch their fair share of passes, so I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. And if you can trade down from #1 to #4 and get an extra second rounder out of it AND still get one of those three QBs, that's a total steal.

I'll give that a shot then. Barring that though, if I have to stick with my number 1 overall pick in that non-PPR league, should I still grab Rodgers first? I'm hesitant to since by the time it snakes back to me, I'm picking 24/25 I think (12-team league), so the dropoff from RBs to that point is going to be huge, whereas I might still get a Roethlisberger or a Romo-type near that position.

With 6 points for passing TDs and non-ppr, I don't think Rodgers first is a bad idea. It's true that RBs drop off fast, but with the 6 point passing TDs, it might be too good to pass up. You can always stock up on high-upside RBs later and hope one or two pan out.

Stafford will be the best fantasy qb this year. Just take Foster first. Even in non PPR he will get MEGAPOINTS
