Yeah it's either steve smith OR jordy Nelson. I really like Jordy but I don't want him alone. I'd do it in a heart beat if he offered both

i figured it couldnt be both haha
and yea, jordy has the more sure-thing offense, im not sure now haha
I'm very low on Turner this year. I would take Jordy for Turner straight up, even without Wilson, regardless of RB situation.
Jordy is a near-lock for at -least- top 15, if not top 10 WR. Even taking away my own bias against turner, I think most people expect his ceiling to be in the 10-15 RB range, with a good chance of finishing lower than that.
i would take the trade too i'm low on Turner this year as well and Jordy is a solid pickup add in Wilson and you're set for when Bradshaw goes down which he will.
So yeah, this whole "no waivers" thing in 2QB and IDP is kind of lame.
no waivers in 2qb either? wtf
I just noticed the stuff a page or 2 back about doug martin.
Here's the thing with the bucs: The left side of their line is beastly.
The right side is TURBL.
Clark doesn't block, they want to run a lot, so Stocker's going to have to be in most snaps.
To some extent it's going to have to be a methodical offense to keep Jash smooth, but there's going to be plenty of times when they get behind and have to go 3 wide + clark and fling it everywhere.
The one place I see a lot of potential for Martin as a rook is the games where they're working the clock in the 2nd half. If they get d's a bit worked down and then just send him behind Nicks and Penn 15 times in the 2nd half, he'll have a chance for some big numbers.
I don't see that happening very often, though, and while he's probably going to be a pretty good back at some point, the loss of Joseph just wrecked his chances at a big rookie year I think.
Not to mention the backups are spectacularly bad and any more injuries would just be devastating (unless we got lucky enough for trueblood to get hurt).
Yahoo waiver system is still fucked. I was able to pick up ogletree without paying for him. That shouldn't be the case. He should be held on waivers. Working on fixing this. I'll drop him back to the pool.
oh, yeah, I could have told you guys that, yahoo blew thursday games, it's been that way for quite a while, nobody goes on waivers til games start sunday
They added an option for "first game - Tuesday". The problem (henceforth known as the akiyama loophole) has been fixed. You may bid to your hearts content.
pretty sure that means absolutely everybody goes on waivers thursday and you can't do any drops/adds after that
edit: actually they have the system to still let you add people from afternoon games during the early games, so maybe they've got that working too
18.5 points from Sean Lee? I love IDP!
i hate that i have to ask these 2 questions, but im going to.
Rapist v. Denver or Flacco v. Cincy
Donald Brown v. BEARS or Pierre Thomas v. Redskins
yes, my irl team is that awesome
rapist isn't playing cuz one of his rape babies is about to be born
lol
Tyche, re: $$ League, why are waivers freaking up till Sept 12th? not even with TNF does this happen -- unlock waivers until sunday morning please...
Waivers are from the first game til Tuesday. I would think you should be able to pick up someone not on the Giants/Cowboys...is this untrue?
Fixed. Waivers will run from gametime til tuesday so you can still pick up players after the waiver time up until their game begins. Thanks for pointing that out.
