bah, sucks. Discussing foreshadowing is good times! But yeah, this is why I have trouble suspending disbelief. I'm totally convinced someone else is going to come for him, but I don't think it'll be the cops. And that annoys me in the same way Dexter annoys me.

Hank finding out doesn't mean cops immediatly know. Options:
Hank is killed/otherwise silenced.
Hank can't deal with it being walt and in some way takes himself out of the equation.
In theory Hank not turning him in, but I think that would feel waaaay out of character.

Additionally,maybe hank tells cops. Walt flees to NH. Hears cartel is coming for his family, so he goes back and gets the gun. idk, just throwing shit out there. the point is, there's a shitton of possibilities, and to go "it's cut and dry, brba is dexter now" is stupid.

But I've been thinking this for a while, not just now. Last season didn't give me any reasons to believe otherwise, and so far this season hasn't (yet) either. Dexter will probably eventually get caught too, but it doesn't mean I'm not annoyed that he hasn't been caught already, because of the way the story's been written. Same goes for Walt.
