My god, has it ever been Chris G's fault whenever he loses? The other guy being a scrub or not, he lost to him. If you looked at the video like you said you should, whenever he got hit with the "random" bionic arms, he was either trying to soul fist or it happened just at the right time that he couldn't unfly in time, so it's not like he couldn't unfly because of PS3 lag.

It was a combination of him choking and PS3. There were times when PS3 didn't help, but he missed an air throw on dante teleport and dropped the vergil combo at the end since he chose to DP+M, super instead of going into swords. I'm pretty sure he could unfly still, looking at it now, he was already in fly at time of the arm. Guy still did a lot of stupid unsafe stuff, just calling a pelican a pelican bro.

Just because they played on the same system doesn't make the detriment to both players fair, imo. Morrigan might suffer the most because of it, tbh. There's a reason yipes doesn't play Dante on PS3 etc. You get outplayed, you get outplayed. you choked, you choked. Doesn't mean that PS3 didn't factor into that, and it's still stupid to play marvel on the system, lol.

For example, Marlinpie hit chrisg with THC, XFC and failed to trijump twice because of MASSIVE slow down (I think this was at Apex), that slowdown occurs at any other time and it's not as big a deal. It adds an unnecessary randomness factor that may benefit or detriment each player at completely different rates. It's like introducing a luck factor to an already random game.

Both players had to deal with the same lag, Chris is very proficient in a billion characters and could have just picked a team that didn't get hurt as hard by it, and finally, his team is the one putting all the shit on the screen to make it lag .

Yes the PS3 isn't optimal, but at the moment it's what we have to play on for Road to EVO events. If a player can't deal with it, he should just stay home from the tourneys that are on PS3. I disagree with it affecting them both the same. Hell right there, him not being able to play his best team, is ALREADY affecting him, that's complete bullshit. And honestly, if he can't unfly to safety, that's kind of a big deal with it comes to morrigan, compared to other characters. That'd be like wavedashing and not being able to block a random ass super because you were doing something and the slowdown didn't register downback. Morrigan is one of the most execution heavy characters in the game. He complained about PS3 when he won the last PS3 tourny. Every person that plays marvel complains about it. Like, literally every single person has commented on PS3 lag being bullshit on twitter. And it's not just his stuff that makes it lag, it just randomly slows down without a rhyme or reason, it's not morrigan that necessarily causes it. If it was a constant effect, then I'd say, you know the tourny is on PS3, practice on it, but it's absolutely random.

If you know a tournament's on PS3, and you're not prepared to play on PS3, it's your own fucking fault. Stop making excuses. Even if the PS3 is worse, you either enter the tournament and deal with it, or you stay out and cite that as the reason to make a point. Can't trust the PS3? Play a team less prone to error even if it isn't your best. Do less complicated shit with your best team. Take some responsibility.

Go do what chrisg does with morrigan in training mode for 15 minutes and tell me that that shit isn't hard. And you saying that it's only QCF/QCB repeated shows why chrisg's morrigan is >>>>>>>> any other morrigan out there. Shitty morrigans do that. And he does it THE WHOLE GAME. He messes up an input once, and he loses morrigan. Compare that to 90% of the cast whose neutral game is MUCH simpler. Execution wise. Zero's neutral isn't as intense as that. The only character who I think rivals that is Dante.

I think you guys are missing the point completely. Why should the players be forced to play on an inferior system. I'd agree with you guys if it was just a constant slowdown compared to Xbox (say... playing sf on different monitors than the tourny), but it's COMPLETELY RANDOM, and because of that, forcing a person to not play their best team is complete and utter bullshit.
