Sony sponsored Evo for a little while (not sure if they still do). That's why Evo, and Evo-related tournaments run on PS3. Other tournaments, any form of casuals, and the vast majority of people's practice time is on 360 if they don't have access to an arcade.

Also the games need to be online to authenticate the cd key. So PS4 would be the right choice

PS4 is all but assured to be tournament/FGC standard due to the retarded features of the Xbox.

A) Not being able to change between games as easily (Meaning every single Xbox at an event needs a unique version of every game, can't have like 5 xbox's, and rotate through 3 copies of SF4, 2 copies of Injustice and 2 copies of marvel).

B) Always needing to be connected to internet. Some Venue internet is straight up booty sweat.

C) NEEDING Kinect in order to function. So not only does each setup need a HUGE system (Xbox one is like bigger than the original Xbox), bu each needs its own kinect as well. Also, each is run by voice commands. Incoming someone screaming XBOX OFF in the middle of Grand finals.

PS4 has streaming capabilities built in. According to developers, PS4 has much better design architecture compared to the PS3, making it very developer friendly, reducing the likeliness that the versions between platforms are different (If they were ported from xbox).

Sanford/Yipes/Dieminion got a big signing bonus for signing back with EMP through VxG. Depending on how much it was, or if its a salary, they could be > AGE.

Complexity is Filipino Champ only, and a lot of AGE is based on their sales through entering each player's code.

Edit: The Big 4 in Japan all get good salaries through MadCatz or Hori. Mago, Daigo, Tokido, and Sako all get full-time salaries and get to travel all over the fuggin world. I would assume they are right below EG.

Came here to post this exact thing, haha. It would be hysterical the first time it happened on stream but obviously, it's a serious impediment to running a functional tournament. Unless MS does something to lift the Kinect-only requirement, Xbork is already out of the running for use in any kind of serious tournament environment.
