I do feel for Calli in the 2nd round of the first match though. He had that cross-up legit, then auto-correct reared it's ugly head.

Watch past the first round lol, I got my techs together after I got P'd on, first round I wasn't trying to tech because I legitimately didn't believe he'd try to throw me 2-3 times in a row lol

And yeah he wrecked me on the cr.mks, I fucked up my spacing badly there. His advice after the match was to just stand and respond to his fireballs with my own so I didn't get so behind in meter/chip advantage and try to bait a bad tatsu to make him get close, instead of trying to force my way in.

Yeah, you are really weak to the full screen - mid screen fireball zoning. I can usually get you 30-45% down if I just stay back with Akuma before you even get in close enough to land a block stun. I don't know enough about Sak to give advice on what to do though.

There isn't a lot, that's just specifically her weakness as a character. I get impatient, but usually the best option is to just chuck it back until you have a bar for EX otoshi or tatsu then try to make a read using one of those to get in, or just hope they get bored of zoning and come to you.

Yeah I was going to say that. With Dudley, I just stay at a range where I can try to sweep his cr.mk or react to a fireball with ducking. When you have ex tatsu, you can basically play the exact same way only it's a little less scary.

sweep or cr.mk? cr.mk is much faster and you still get a knock down on trade. What i've always "tried" to do

I just walk forward and block until I'm just outside cr. Mk range because vega is awesome. also, with ultra can't even their fireballs at midscreen.

I think that if I get a runback at EVO I'd do better, watching the video a few times I see so many holes where I could get in that I didn't at the time :/

Need to try and be more ChrisG and less Uryo.
