On the marvel subject, I loved that I think ultradavid pointed out how jrosa gets all his practice in in the vita. I've been doing that for months while bored at work, best portable port ever.

I didn't even start practicing neutral until like maybe a week before I played you, if that. :/ And shortly after that I changed chars. Pretty much ENTIRELY before that I practiced dante combos exclusively... Thinking of and creating new ways to extend combos with strange as well as creating different ways to combo into grapple... Unfortunately, I can't do that with strange because he gets happy birthday'd so easily. He appears IN FRONT of your character when the assist is called and then takes a step forward while doing bolts. Full screen? Sure but not against wolvie, who standing gets under bolts.

E: Can you plug your stick into vita? <_< otherwise seems kinda useless unless you're just testing random things and setups you thought during the day.

I just can't get too caught up into a phase 3 where my char will be wiped :/ I'll be on some for sure, but I have holiday plans.

Marvel to me makes zero difference with a pad (playstation) or stick. Maybe 5-10 minutes with a stick and I could translate whatever I had learned while playing pad.

Can't practice stick execution with a pad :/
Maybe thats why he dropped all those combos vs rayray

I played fighting games for years on playstations, so most of my brain is wired with that in mind. Tekken/guilty gear I can only play pad. Some games I'm better with a stick (SF IV, VF), but as long as its a PlayStation pad its not that big a difference to me.

Where are you guys doing the FF14 thing? Decided I'd give the beta a shot at the urging of a few people I know. I figure..why the hell not, so I sent in a ticket to get my beta code (was in 1.0 for a bit so I got that going for me) and have the game downloaded/patched.

Most of us have been playing Phase 3, but at the end of phase 3 all your progress gets wiped. Most people will be playing starting Phase 4 (date unknown) because your characters translates into retail.

Yeah, I'm in Phase 3 now so I wanted to poke around and see if I'd like it (considering a ton of people are like.. 2.0 is the shit, etc) so I figured I'd hop in for the next test. :>

Lemme know what server you guys pick, and I'll see where the other few guys are going as well, see what's up. Since I have the game downloaded and shit I'll prolly try Phase 4 too or w/e.
