Reminder to folk doing midnight pick up for the hard copies.... be prepared for hell. Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed, and even WWE14 all midnight releasing simultaneously tonight. My friend texted me today saying he saw them setting up crowd barriers for the line tonight at a Gamestop in the area.

Yeah ours had bout 75 but there's like 5 more stores within two miles so that helps water it down, call of duty will definitely be awful, ain't it Tuesday next week? That's Election Day too, kids are off school usually and parents will want to have the game to keep their children occupied lol

Despite not really having time to play this, I know I'm going to inevitably splurge and buy it one day. Stupid real life.

I did. I'm sure I'll enjoy the game but for now I can't even finish a match without the game locking up and repeating the last sound played, forcing me to kill the process. Updated video drivers and nada. Trying something somebody said on the forums about optional windows updates fixing it.

The basic rocket launcher that US engineer gets is pretty insane.

Also my Origin ID is Kuishen if anybody wants to squad up.

on that note, how the fuck do you make a party/squad (on 360)? in bf3 you could just invite people to your squad at the main menu but the only time i can find an option to join or invite in this one is if I'm in a game already

What is with these assbackwards vehicle controls?

I had to exit my server and go into the test range (thank god they added this btw) to start messing with my jet flight controls because I use a controller for jets (so much better than keyboard). Only here's the problem, I want my controls to be like they were in BF3, which were the default I believe. So that means the throttles on the triggers. I can put Up Throttle on the right trigger but Freelook (Hold) is mysteriously bound to Left Trigger and I can't unbind it because it's not bound on the screen. However the game knows Left Trigger is bound to that because when I try to bind Down Throttle to it, it tells me that Left Trigger is already bound to something.

Like for real? I can't fly jets any other way than with the BF3 controls, which were fine, I don't understand why they changed them at all.

EDIT: BTW, the optional windows updates did fix the freezing and sound issue.

EDIT: Fixed that issue. Now all that's left is the lag most 64 man servers seem to be experiencing. http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield...ok/m-p/1725915 is how I fixed that issue in case anybody was interested.

Also that circle thing in the jet cockpit that's suppose to indicate how to lead your target is complete garbage and doesn't work at all.

also how do you edit loadouts? i went to my soldier and all I saw was how to see what shit I've unlocked, not how to equip it. dunno if I'm just derping and missing something obvious or if they just really fucked up some basic stuff

I need to try planes with the controller. I can fly them with a KB but not much else.

As for the choppers, I can at least get them off the ground with a controller. After about 10 seconds or any kind of movement I might as well be flying a tank though.

I think you have to do it from Battlelog now. I an not thrilled either.

After unplayable rubberbanding on the majority of servers last night I decided to go through campaign. It's an improvement over BF3's campaign, and a tiny bit less linear, but nothing amazing.

did you play all the way through it? under assignments 3 of them say like "make the final choice" or something, do you have to choose different things to unlock them all, or do you get them all at the end?

Not having any issues with the controls tbh. I just mapped everything to how I wanted it.
