I thought it was well done since it was clear they couldn't try to simply beat what China did. The first part with the 'history' was very very cool, the NHS part wasn't horrible but not as good as the first part, I thought the torch/flame lighting was quite cool.

Guessing Rio will basically just have a gigantic party for 3 hours.

NBC is fucking terrible, don't show it live, add commercials when you get around to showing it during primetime for $$$.

I understand the logic but they are going to get such massive viewership anyway during the next 2+ weeks.

Yeah, I watched the BBC broadcast on a stream earlier, I wanted to watch parts of it again to see it in HD/lacking a few choppy moments and it was frustrating.
