Anybody here have Avast antivirus? I have been watching the live streams on NBC but Avast is constantly scanning it and it's making it jumpy. I tried adding the site to the exceptions but it's still doing it.
Edit: Watching women's fencing and a South Korean coach is pissed about something. The match is stopped and there is a lot of yelling going on and the Korean girl is crying!!
I don't understand exactly what's going on. He was upset about a call I think. He was yelling in english "Just watch video! Please just watch video!" over and over again. They keep asking the audience to be quiet so the judges can make a decision. Wow this is crazy! XD
Well, that was fucked up.
#1 US Women's indoor vball gets revenge against #2 Brazil, winning fairly easily 3 sets to 1
Update 2:
This is bizarre. The Korean girl fencer is sitting on the platform by herself now. There is noone else out there! The coach was escorted out of the arena. The announcer came on and said the coach as gone to file a written appeal or something.
shame wish he never faulted or it was judged correctly the first time, it sours what was other wise a fantastic acheivment (bronze)
Feel sorry for the ukrainian team too 4th place is probably the worst place to finish especially given the circumstances.
So what exactly is going on?
did the BBC comentator on the fencing just say Jewing them up lol
Ugh Roger Federer so good, he should be banned >_> come on Stan pick up the slack...
lulz he just did
She can't leave the platform else she's accepting the referee/officials decision or something.
EDIT: A written appeal as gone in, the press want a press conference, IOC says they won't hold one yet, but will produce a written statement but won't be giving any details about what will happen. This isn't gonna be resolved fairly quickly (apparently).
That Frenchman blew them out of the water, literally.
So just rewatching the fencing incident, a lot of shit happening in just 1 second.
Update:
Ok. I found out what is going on. Did a search to see if any sports websites were mentioning it.
From a post on GameFAQ of all places.
Wow Fencing about to have the biggest screwjob ever?
Unbelievable. One second left on the clock and the clock froze and didn't run down. Afterwards one of the fencers got the point probably about 5 seconds afterwards and was awarded the win. Everybody went nuts complaining so they are having a huge discussion with the judges now. They should be going to a second sudden death overtime. There is really nothing that should be discussed. It's clear as day and not even close.
If they screw the one Korean fencer, this will be the worst Olympic screwjob I've ever seen.
There was a mess up were the clock had to get reset to a full one second as well. I blame the timekeepers.
Well she walked off by the looks of it now, after being given a yellow card. Not right in my opinion.
They were threatening to black card her I believe so she really didn't have a choice
