Far as phelps goes, he fucked up the 400IM but tbh he was godlike on the relay, and Lochte fucked the last lap up (but to be frank that French guy was fuckin FLYING)

did any of you see McKayla do her vaults yesterday? girl can get some air, she's not a game. felt bad for Jordan, she really was pretty harshly judged, i can't believe they deducted so much for that really slight mistake on the uneven bars. It's fucked up that they only take 2 from each team instead of just taking the 18 flat out best scores. So dumb. Anyone see that 24 year old Romanian gymnast? She's pretty ye olde for a gymnast... everyone else looks about 12.

I have a hard time watching Gymnastics even though it's one of my favorite events at the Olympics.

With other sports I can watch and enjoy it, but with Gymnastics I'm always watching and flinching and going "Please don't mess up, Please don't mess up, Please don't mess up" and it's so nerve wracking that I can't even enjoy it. Sigh.

It would be a terrible sport to compete in. They don't seem like they are enjoying themselves with few exceptions and are just trying not to fuck up. Then if you fuck up, yay, years of training gone to waste. The gymnast Weber comes to mind.
