I didn't know ludacris was a 400 runner
So she wasn't a good sport about choking in her one and only event. She's pissed. She's 16. Lol, who cares.
Just so you know, Nastia is sitting watching going "holy fuck if I had stayed in shape I could have won a team gold, an all around gold, and every single event gold against these bitches."
Oh she was 16 ...
I watched the whole thing lol and didn't realise (volume was mute)
It's not her only event, she was part of team all-around also. Not sure how it being her only individual event qualifies her to be a poor sport. If LeBron and Kobe lose in the Gold Medal match and act like dicks to the winning team it wouldn't be a very good look.
Anyway, we can agree to disagree as we are arguing in circles at this point. I just don't think anything justifies her reaction unless something unsporting had happened, which clearly it didn't. She lost, fair and square, and should respect that.
Chick was disappointed with her performance and showed it outwardly. CALL THE COPS.
Fuck.
I'm curious moss. I know how gay the "you wouldn't do any better" arguments are when it comes to sports.
Just imagine for a moment that you've dedicated your entire life to a sport. You make the olympic team... and then break your toe in training making it so there's absolutely no chance whatsoever you get to compete in anything except your 1 single best event.
You put up one of the best gymnastic event performances of all time in your first shot on that stage. Win the team gold by over 5 fucking points.
Go into the event final, put up a vault that's mediocre at best for you... and blows everyone else absolutely out of the water, nobody's even close.
Go for your 2nd run trying to make it absolutely perfect, overdo it and fall on your ass.
Still end up missing gold by a tenth of a point when the gold medalist has a huge step and a 2 foot hop on her vaults.
Immediately after the final result is announced, the gold medalist comes over to hug you.
You're a 16 year old girl that literally just had your life's goal in your hands and straight up dropped it.
How do you react?
I don't think you have any concept how hard it would even be to just stand there and hug her. I'm guessing I'd have a hard time resisting the urge to punch her in the face.

^ sure looks like a poor sport there
Yeah I'm sorry, I'll stop stating my observations of the olympics.
OH WAIT
Wait wait wait... you have any doubt whatsoever that kobe and lebron would be dicks if they lose?
You think they would show *MORE* sportsmanship than fucking hugging the winners and literally letting them sit there and cry on their shoulders in joy?
Dude... puff puff pass...
fucking lol
Dude, I understand. I knew the situation. It was an observation based on a 10 second shot of her reaction. Losing sucks, especially in such a situation, but you know what you are training for and know losing is a possibility. I would not have an urge to punch someone that beat me unless they cheated.
lol @ bolt staring at the clock the last half of the 100, kinda disappointed tho I thought he was gonna go all out and try for a final big WR, it's depressing that he's so much better than everyone else that we'll probably never know what he could have done running his very best at his prime
It's true she was acting a bit shitty but I thought she was a lot older, because watching it I thought "well cheer up, you got a silver... look at that girl who came 4th, she's far more upset". Thinking back now it's probably an appropiate reaction for a 16 year old.
Thinking about it, when that China dude won the Badminton final, he ran to the crowd first, like he scored a goal in football, his 2 trainers (?) had to chase after him, finally he ended up on the floor lying there all happy while his 2 guys do something similar, hugging him. THEN he walked over to shake the loser's hand.
I'm undecided if he should shake then celebrate first, rather than go ape and then calm down and go shake/hug.
They showed the primetime coverage again. Couldn't sleep so I watched it. The look she had on her face did seem cold. Like a quiet anger kind of expression. I don't care I was just curious. Gymnastics is dumb. Besides.. she's the hot one. That's all that matters lols.
@Moss: Yeah, I know she had the Team Finals as well, but the only reason she was actually there was because she's the best Vaulter in the world (or was before the Olympics) and had a spot on the team because of that. And she choked at the one discipline that she's great at, and was certifiably pissed, Haha. That's all I was saying. Plus being 16 and a girl gives her the right to be pissed and unsportsmanlike. Also bitches be crazy in gymnastics.
Had too add these two pictures:
