The way NBC works is *not* by selecting the most exciting games to show in primetime.

They pre-determine what events they want to show beforehand. Place embargo so they don't get shown live, and then show them during primetime.

Because the USA/Canada women's soccer match and the USA/Brazil beach volley ball match were shown live, they don't get to replay them during primetime.

This. Half of the people complain when shit isn't shown live, the other have complain when shit isn't in the prime time block. How do I shot network television?
