All acts of this sort are equally as bad to me. If someone did the same thing, but for no reason and carved random shit into the person, it'd still be equally as bad. The fact that they are gay holds no relevance on how bad I think it is. Shit is all horrible though
Celeste: being a throat-jumper with a penchant for political correctness and categorizing doesn't do your cause or the cause of those you're speaking on behalf any good. Something tells me you care less about the issues at hand and more about your own need to be vocally indignant whenever possible.
It's typically considered more derogatory than it is a compliment or positive way of referring to trans people, Aurara. I personally don't like it's usage and my friends don't either. There are plenty of people in the LGBT community that pander to more mainstream ways of handling terms such as faggot or tranny to fit in better with their heterosexual friends. I'm not one of those people. The majority of trans people aren't those kinds of people. If your friend is comfortable with it's usage, then by all means refer to them as such.
Well it's a good thing I can both support your freedom and equal protection as human beings and citizens and get to use whatever words I want to when describing you.
So let me see if I am understanding what's going on. All violent crimes should ellicit the same amount of <insertfeelinghere> regardless of the details?

I see you're getting excited down there, but not so fast, Churchill!(Click the picture! Fun! Excitement! Vanadiel!)![]()
Well, if there's no connection to you, a violent crime is no more <insertfeelinghere> than another?
I can't speak for everyone, but to me, no. Motive makes no diff to me the crime is the crime. (when I say motive, as long as it's intentional. If there's an accident or something then I'd probably feel a little different about it)
Edit:
It depends on how you look at it. For example, I wouldn't date any black chicks. It's not because they are black though, but it's because I haven't found any that have a combination of look/personality that I would consider dating. If there was a black chick that I found attractive and had a personality that I liked, then I would go for it, but as of now, haven't come close to finding one that meets that description. The majority of BG thinks that not dating someone because of their race isn't racist, I'm not sure you'll get much support for the whole dating a trans woman and genital reconstructive surgery stance.
Not being physically attracted to someone isn't discrimination, it's basic human function.
Well this thread has certainly delivered. And I thought Celeste wasn't responding anymore. Glad to know she reversed coarse on that to keep the laughs coming.
And yes! We're back to this thread again! Everything comes full circle here at BG.
I'm so confused someone please just tell me who I'm supposed to hate!
