I won't date a woman who use to be a man. Does that make me a bigot?

In Celeste's eyes, yup. But I think you were already there when you said a crime is a crime regardless if it's against a lgbt person or a straight person.
Straight men should be fucking all the boys, you got damned bigots.
I'm confused on what SAWCM stands for. Someone help me out.
Apparently, it very much is up for argument as I would've made the exact opposite case as to how criminal justice works and thought it to be just as final.Originally Posted by Cadsuane

Not only is elevation of trials of intention(*) into law a frightful prospect to contemplate (not least because said intentions are rarely easily fathomed) but it's also counterproductive in the establishment of a discrimination-free society.
If I was the victim of a violent crime (again), I'd care little about the motivations of my assaillant and I certainly would hope s/he'd receive a sentence proportional to his/her actions unrelatedly to what ethnicity, gender identity, sexuality or creed I happen to belong to. (excepting the aforementionned tangential issue, obviously)
Thankfully, that's how most justice systems work and my country has not yet gotten around to ratifying such discriminatory penal decrees.
(*) I know that's not an idiom in english, but it should be. Meaning should be self-evident, anyway.
I think it's SAWCSM that Celeste is using. Guessing American White Cisnormative Straight Male, but not sure what the first "s" stands for.Originally Posted by MrDodo

What if I find the thought of kissing a Transgender woman unappealing?
straight, anglo-saxon, white, cisgendered (christian?) man?
I'm not going to google someone's attempt to put a label on a group of people they feel are somehow subjugating them. Plus, I'll be too busy rolling around town drinking malt liquor and targeting gays for beatdowns with Rhinox.
Personally I find fat people way more abhorrent and worthless than anything else I can think of because being fat is entirely your own decision.
Fat people aren't people.
my ears are burning
stop name dropping me leroy
I thought Celeste was done talking lol?
You're just trying to silence opposition to your privilege.
On a side note: I find it amusing that this forum tries to stick it to people who say they're done replying. I was exhausted from replying. I took a break, hello? Is there a problem, oh glorious Brill Weave? For the record, I am not going to answer your idiotic questions. Either rephrase them to be less offensive or piss off.
On a side note of my own (that I, too, find amusing): don't you think you're the one being discriminatory here?
You're tailoring your judgment of people not on their words alone but on what you assume (oft erroneously, as has been alluded to) their ethnicity, gender identity and sexual orientation is.
I asked you a very simple non offensive question. Do you feel that violence towards the LGBT community is worse than violence committed towards the rest of the world. Literally the same question I've been asking for pages that you have been dodging nonstop. Not my fault you won't give a yes or no. I called you onto the floor with a question you're afraid to answer. That's why you've dodged it.
And you will continue to do so. Here's why. If you say yes, then you paint yourself a hypocrite. If you say no, you automatically lose your soapbox since you acknowledge that a violent act should be treated/reacted to equally regardless of sexual/racial/religious differences.
But by all means, continue being a good little drone, spouting the message to the bigoted masses. All the while ignoring any questions that blows holes in your little schooner.
