Really makes me question if other foods I eat are politically aligned. Is that tossed salad turning me Green? What if eating at a smorgasbord means I support Socialism? I need answers soon, I'm hungry ; ;

This is so stupid, its a fucking fast food chain lol. Anything else we wanna politicize? I love vodka, am I commie?
It's not as if people randomly chose to politicize a food chain. The owner himself put it on the map.
Regardless whether or not you agree with the politicizing of a fast food franchise, posting something like that is seriously going to detriment your position in a political race.
Honest question. Are they donating money to anti gay groups and stuff? Or did he just say he doesn't like the gays but isn't doing anything about it?
http://equalitymatters.org/blog/201103220005When two Missouri organizations, the Clayton Chamber of Commerce and FOCUS St. Louis, decided earlier this month to cancel a presentation by Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy over his company's controversial affiliations, they made the right decision. Although Cathy has unequivocally denied being anti-LGBT and claimed that he and the company have "no agenda against anyone" and "will not champion any political agendas on marriage and family," Equality Matters research proves just the opposite. In fact, the company has strong, deep ties to anti-gay organizations like Focus on the Family and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and its charitable division has provided more than $1.1 million to organizations that deliver anti-LGBT messages and promote egregious practices like reparative therapy that seek to "free" people of being gay.
http://equalitymatters.org/factcheck/201111010001Earlier this year, Chick-fil-A became embroiled in a controversy surrounding its donations to anti-gay groups. Though Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy denied having an “agenda against anyone,” an Equality Matters investigation discovered that Chick-fil-A donated more than $1 million to anti-gay causes between 2003 and 2008. Now, new IRS 990 forms reveal that the company donated nearly two million dollars to anti-gay groups in 2009 alone, the most recent year for which public records are available.
I thought most people already knew that this company actively donates to anti-gay groups and hosts "traditional family values" events.
I mean, I kind of always just assumed they hated gay people because of that whole 'closed on Sundays for religious beliefs' shit.
Is his fucking name Dan or Truett?
The left didn't politicize the issue, I mean how many other fast food chains make it a point to both donate against a human rights cause and flaunt it publicly? All they did was start hammering on the nail, then instead of putting the nail away the company brought out a whole BOX of nails.
I'll agree it has started to get obnoxious. However, it doesn't change the justification. Maybe some people need to take deeper, calming breaths because I've seen some Queen's get into epic hissy fits on Facebook over this.
Before ordering my A1 thick and hearty from Whataburger, I asked if they supported gay marriage or not.
I wish Jack in the Box was still doing their spots targeting the other companies. This whole overblow issue could be comic gold.
Im upset there is no Chik Fil A near me. I want to at least try it before some hippie starts blowing them up
The only one relatively close is a 45 minute train ride to NYU. FUCK NYU
Because being religious instantly means being anti-gay? You speak as if other fast-food chains aren't owned by religious people.
The owner made the whole traditional family/anti-gay/right wing agenda his personal quest and thus he reaps the rewards of bad press, lost revenue and criticism. I'm sure the supporters of Chic-fil-a / Dan Cathy will retaliate by doing something like boycotting Chipotle or something. Fucking Mexican food isn't American and such is the intensity of the political divide in this country.
Sometimes I think people forget you can be religious without being an overly outspoken, judgmental, cookie-cutter blowhard.
Being "soo christian that you close your billion dollar chicken empire on the Sabbath" pretty much means that you are anti-gay, yes.
That's usually how it works.Because being religious instantly means being anti-gay?
Hold the fuck up, now ya trying to fuck with my Chipotle!?
