Celeste, I don't know if you have a penis or not. But you certainly don't have a spine with all that jellyfishing you're doing dodging direct questions on your viewpoints. The hypocrisy is delicious.

I honestly have nfi who is trolling who anymore. I can see getting upset about hate crime laws since that would at least make sense in the idea of separating murder of a straight person for one reason or another and the murder of someone based of sexual orientation.
edit: fuck it
You could build a bank with all these safefaces.
I don't even need to say it because it goes without saying, Acevalefor. I am not the one who tried making a big deal out of it occurring to a member of the LGBT community to begin with. That was done by jackass on page 1 by invalidating that it was done to someone based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. The horror is, after all, in the details. And a resounding yes that it'd be just as horrible if a black teenage male was attacked. It was horrible when Trayvon Martin was murdered.
AND NOW WE'RE ONTO VICTIM BLAMING. THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING. WOW.
On behalf of the white straight male community I find this thread offensive.
I'm sorry but I don't agree with the OP because she seems to make it seem as though it should be treated as a special case due to the victims sexual orientation.
The Gay and Lesbian Community has said for the longest time that they want to stand on equal footing with heterosexuals (no one group is more special than the other). Most people don't have a problem with that at all. It's when you get into situations where Gays and Lesbians feel that they are entitled to more sympathy because they've had to endure so much. To that I say get in line you aren't special. Jewish, Blacks, Women (1900's), Native Americans, Middle Easterns, People of different religious backgrounds...they've all had to deal with crap and it's not a contest of who had it the hardest. So we should care more because they were gay? I am sorry but a hate crime is a hate crime regardless of their sexual orientation, color of their skin, or religious beliefs. People should be outraged at the act of violence rather than the fact that it was because they were gay or black or believed in God.
The crime was awful, yes. It can be considered a hate crime. What more do you want? Special prosecution against the accused? Then you're considering your plight much worse than another person's.
I like, when discussing the LGBT community, to keep up the pretense that LGB people have not discriminated against me for being trans, Milkster. It just hadn't come up in the thread yet, nor do I wish to discuss it. Thanks darling.
So, have you been discriminated against more by White males or the LGBT "community" at large?
Just an example of a shit crime that should be taken just as serious for every case across the board.And you're using rape as an example? This horror will never end. ._.;
No, by being pants on head stupid. If by trolled you mean taken offense to obvious bigotry and expressed that offense, sure.![]()
So basically if you kill someone you should ask them their sexual orientation first ?
It's usually determined whether or not it was a hate crime later. In this case of the Lincoln, Nebraska assault, the woman had various profanities carved into her skin. In another example I listed in the original post, a pair of lesbian teenagers were shot. Due to the lack of information, it cannot as of right now be determined if they were attacked because they were lesbians. It remains a tragedy either way.
However, it's worth mentioning when someone is targeted based on their race, skin color, gender identity, or sexual orientation. But, then again, that isn't something anybody wants to hear. When the LGBT community goes, 'Hey, do you see how wrong this is? Do you see what bigotry and ignorance does to an innocent person?", it isn't to milk the situation for sympathy you jerk. It's raise awareness and I believe it's warranted.
I wanted to discuss the attack and see how everyone felt about it. I didn't expect to get so many hilarious privilege denying replies though.
The obvious answer is to exclusively allow gays and lesbians to conceal carry.
what is it about trannies and bg that try to pin trannies as psychopathic over the topic emotional morons?
