Is Samsung S3 the best android right now?

my Nexus S is really aging fast. I don't receive texts while playing Tiny Tower or in poor signal areas. Normally this would not be a problem since they should conceivably come through once I return to better signal or turn off the game/app but they simply do not arrive

If you're with a carrier and they offer you the Samsung Galaxy S3 at a very good discounted price, go for it. If not, purchase a Galaxy Nexus. Either one is a good choice with my preference veering towards the Galaxy Nexus.

Due to the reduced specs it performs barely better (and in some cases worse) than the GNex

Worse screen than most other phones with 720p, including GNex, EVO 4G LTE, One X, and several others

Oh, and they banned Google Wallet on it too, and since the ROMs are still nonexistant there's no workaround, unlike with the GNex on Verizon it's a simple root and patch away from being fixed

gnex is huge but thin so it doesnt feel fucking awful in pocket. can be awkward to operate with one hand tho
