About Holmes, you missed the point. It has nothing to do with the heinous act. It's about the media and idiots like you who are quick to blame it on guns instead of say psychological problems or a bunch of other factors. If he's "evil" or insane, having removed the guns out of the equation does absolutely nothing to prevent such unfortunate acts and we are evading the real issues.

Way to assume dumbshit. You really are fucking dense arn't you. So these "unarmed" (which one of them isn't) to give you an idea of the kind of people they are as I see them every day. They would put a bullet in their own mothers head if it meant avoiding going to jail. They will do anything to avoid that. So you take an already violent group of people, have them start running, then start reaching into their pants and you expect a cop to sit there and wait to make 100% sure it's a gun before shooting? I don't care who you are, if your told to get down to the ground and instead you put distance and then reach into your pants and you already have a history of violence on you, you are going to get shot, and they are not trained to shoot to wound, you will probably be dead. Haven't actually heard of a rubber bullet death in awhile. Yet, I really don't go much out of my way to look up the info.

Last one I heard of involved my department back in 2004.
