I think she's cool /shrug I'm with the Maelstrom though, so I've seen her more than some. I don't know how often others actually get to see of her, but I doubt it's very much.

Skin color is obviously going to be an option, so I wouldn't focus on that. I just mean the general body shape, etc. Just think, they could've made her green, lol.

THAT SAID, this actually scares me. If she's not mostly based off the Elezen model, I'll be surprised. Either they'll change models a bit or Female Roes will look so different from the males you can barely tell they're of the same race. Granted, all Merlwyb really shows of herself is her cleave, but sexual dimorphism is gettin strange here.

Ooh, I hadn't thought of that. There's a few NPCs who have a bit of a mix and match race models... The Broken Blade faction NPC (Hyur head, Roeg body) is the first one that comes to mind.

Her hair covers her ears from the front in the game and from all sides in her illustration. That + the fact that, well, who's looking at her ears when they see her? I didn't start seeing the broad until halfway through my play time and when I did I just listened to her olde English and left.

We'll probably get hybrids as well like Lilisette, likely not as playable chars but w/e. It's nice to see different kinds of NPCs every now and then.

Hybrid races were definitely an option in one of those player polls though... I'm not sure how much enthusiasm they got vs half-demon races or half-lizard (BANGAAAAAA).

Right, hybrid races between the existing 5 were an option. On top of that we also had the option to vote for Viera, half lizard, half demons, etc.
