The Economy is down, college is coming back in session, and everybody is low on cash. Some are hurting more than others. So i thought it would be a good idea to provide some information for those that could use some tips to survive until life gets a bit better. It is a stretch but i am hoping that with the amount of people on BG from various parts of the world we can all pool our knowledge/resources to those who ask for it. If anyone needs help locating information on how to get back on track than post your question. Someone should be able to point you in the right direction. Obviously continue to do your own research as well.

This is a thread that is primarily intended for those that are starving,depression, addictions and or homeless.

Not a thread for those looking for , housing, quick fix tips. Make your own separate thread to ask for that sort of help.

Why would you not include housing, jobs, etc.? There's not exactly many homeless BG posters.

It's for those that are in need, looking for a house is not under this category. I see your point on jobs and may edit that out, but i did not want to make it to broad to clutter this thread so that it would be easier to sift through for information. If you are homeless and need housing, it is under the links for homeless. There may not be many Homeless BG members but it is for those that may be facing it or for the few that are currently under such circumstances.

Apply for Food Stamps immediately. (I believe they have a new name in many states but the program is the same.) You will undoubtedly qualify and may get food stamps right away if you have no food or are homeless, so be sure to let the people at the food stamp office know that when you apply.
